So the 2S38/Strf 9040C players were superior in skill.
Sorry, but there’s no reason to push Begleit to 10.0, Strf 9040C to 10.7, 2S38 to 11.0, and HSTVL to 12.0.
2S38 isn’t anywhere as good as you think it is.
If it was my KDR in it would be vastly higher than my Begleit and HSTVL KDRs, and it’s not.

You know what the difference is? Rate of fire and penetrating power. Same as a 2S38.
F*ck skill, they have the fastest of the turret rotation speeds combined with a stupidly high penetrating power.
The same gun on the PT-76 went from 7.0 to literally 8.3, and it can still operate at 11.7.
The 2S38 started at 10.0, so push it up.
Their penetration is slightly better than Strf 9040C’s penetration.
2S38 started at 9.3. It’s a 10.3 tank at 10.0. It’s barely off its BR.

2S38 cannot lolpen. It has to aim for weakspots, identical to Strf 9040C.
And it has the rate of fire to hit weakspots at a steady rate, rather than the rapid-output of the 9040C.
I see 9040Cs regularly rip apart M1A2s, T780BVMs, and the like.

Basic skill increasing tactics such as headphones and keeping ears open is not anecdotal.

2S38 is not good enough for 11.0.
Sound of engines alone doesn’t determine you’re going to hear them coming when they’re on large maps, even. Then it’s up to scanning, because engine noise doesn’t reverberate. And 2S38s have the rapid reaction to pop multiple targets in sequence within seconds.
So again, your argument doesn’t hold up.
