The environment is different - but the BMP-2 is certainly not unable to deal with things in its environment.
PUMAs are very easy to kill (in MBTs at least), have slightly better penetration than the Bradley (with the same firerate), a turretless crew and being slightly more survivable… at the cost of any ATGMs.
At its current state, I don’t see why it shouldn’t go down to 9.7.
I don’t think the 50mm of extra pen really do much.
I would sure take those spall liners, the far more survivable platform, the extra gun depression and the higher ROF, though… On the 9040. Hell - I’ve actually started grinding Sweden (no premium vehicles, just tech tree) just because of the Lvkv9040C. And that 2 extra crew with SPAA spawn costs.
And it’s been pretty easy so far.
Shame about the unstabilized T-54 at 8.0, when it should be 7.7, though.
And it’s a shame that the Centurion Mk.3 is 7.7 when it should be 7.3. (For both SWE and GB).
The Strv 105 also seems like it’s gonna suck. The rest all seem great, though. I gave up on the Russian tree even with the T-55AM-1 to speed up the progression, but Sweden’s a lot more palatable.

Absolutely. This is coming from a Strv 103 player, and I have no side armor. But it’s still got APDS worth a buck or two.

It’s got an incredible belt and the stabilizer - it’s great in the test drive, that’s for sure.

I hear people saying that less side armour and more light tanks of the BRs near ~8.7 means that increasing the BR of the Falcon would not hurt it at all, but actually the introduction of more fully-stabilized tanks does.
It gets better with its APDS belt.
Probably will, it’s still built on a fast chassis. If you even whiff a shot and have no team backup (Which is 94% of the time) your screwed.
Even with the SAP - it’s got enough explosive and the game’s damage models are so finnicky that you can sometimes just overpressure/ignore armor regardless.
If you shoot the roof of a T-72 - you’ll probably kill it. Even though it has no right to penetrate.

Idk, the optics/cupola are an easy pen spot on the T-72/90 and 64/80, usually my go-to spot with auto-cannon fire.
Imagine them adding the Schimtar. It’s on the same chassis, with a fox turret, I think…

Now there’s another vehicle that would be better than the 2S38 at a similar BR.
And it’s sorely missing. Britain’s top tier is mostly just copy-pasted Challenger 2s right now. They seriously need more IFVs and support vehicles, just like France needs the EBRC JAGUAR for top tier.
I thought the AJAX was a total flop because of the engine noise, what happened?
