I think i’ve died to an R-Darter once, in my first 5 games of the Fox 3 Patch. It’s really bad. Britain gets the Typhoon right?

What is the Su-34’s CAS performance or Pantsirs SPAA performance in GRB got to do with the 3 nations catching up to the F-15Es performance in ARB?

Lol, have you seen American CAS? Pantsyr is cool and all but American CAS outranges it. All of WT’s SPAA are inferior to CAS now.

Hopefully, wouldnt be the first time Gaijin has screwed Britain.

Going from the FA2 into the Gripen, I can get kills with it. My best so far was a rapid triple kill with the R-Darters, but between them and the BOL nerfs. I feel really gimped. I have far more fun in the Tornado F3 at 12.0 than I do in the Gripen

Im thoroughly enjoying the Tornados these days. (real shame it took so long, but oh well). Just the thing really handicapping them at the moment is the BOL nerfs. They need their performance quadrupled. For the F3 Late especially 1-2 Phimat pods for a Load of large chaff would also be amazing.

Defending against something like an Aim-54 in the F3 just consists of spamming dozens upon dozens of chaff where it should just be a few

i touched the saaf gripen a little bit after arhs, but I just didn’t like how the darters felt and havent touched it since, 12.0 f.3 is enjoyable and I hope the new typhoon will make toptier for UK enjoyable again

yeah, I planned to use the Gripen as a Typhoon trainer. having spent the better part of the last 2-3 years in BVR trucks avoiding WVR encounters at all costs. My skills have gotten rusty, especially in Sim. But its just not a fun aircraft for me. Really sucked having no BVR at all for the first 6 months and now, I just cant tolerate more than a few matches in it.

So yeah, Typhoon is gunna be amazing, just hope we get some larger maps

There is one major thing keeping the F-15E in check at the moment. The F-15E pilots are really bad

im not surprised lmao, the same thing happened when the f14 dropped, usa players got too complacent and ended up being easy kills the second they were out of phoenixes

F16C could beat a gripen when gripen was on dev, and on its release too. After all the nerfs, the F16 outperforms it significantly. Not to mention the F15E can just, you know, not engage you in the dogfight. Gripen’s also limited in sustain on account of the 6 missiles, only 4 of which are ARH. Personally feel that the only reason Gripen does well is because you fight Americans, and Americans have barely any idea of how to use their planes.

Actually, no idea if they were just incredibly heavy or something. But had an F-15E try to run away from me and I was actually somehow able to close the gap. I was bingo fuel though and nearly out of AAMs as well which probably helped

Yeah, AAMs and fuel cause you to be too slow to catch them at any worthwhile closure rate, or if they just decide to climb. Though a properly used f15 can also just beat you in an dogfight because Gaijin seem averse to implementing structural G limits on American aircraft.

Generally. I find the biggest weakness of the F-15s, is the pilots. Most of my kills are because they were just over confident. Give the F-15E to the Brits (or any minor nation) for 24 hours and it would be 14.7 by the end of it :D

Hehe. Im gunna have to make sure i buy a mega bag of Popcorn tomorrow before the dev server goes live and then I can just enjoy the spam of threads for the Typhoon and Rafale that will innevetiably begin.

Yeah. It’ll be really rough if they do get nerfed, especially given the armament on the Rafale will be notably underperforming on account of Magics missing effective range and part of their flare rejection system, and MICAs being unable to achieve even the 50km max range when IRL they are claimed to have a max range of ~80km.

Can’t wait for France to be shafted not only in payload but in platform.
