I recently unlocked F16pobit. Sitting at 14.3, it is already at a huge disadvantage having 6 vs 14 missiles against Su30s. But at stock, I have 2 aim120cs and facing 12 r77-1s (arguably the best fox3 in the game).
Let that sink in, 2 vs 12 fox3s.

And btw, without any upgrades and already weaker engines, good luck reaching to a base with napalms. That and the fact that 20 missiles coming at you all at once…

This is true actually, howver i have stock grinded a fair amount of planes but nothing felt like this as the new f16 is already a weak plane for its br.
I just ended up stockgrinding my stuff in air arcade.
I don’t hate myself enough to play an F-16 with just 2 Fox-3’s against 12 when it already only has 6 when spaded
I stopped playing top grind cuz of the imbalance but F16 being my fav plane, i wanted to give it a chance but yeah, i am done with it. Such a shame.
It doesn’t. The F16 PoBit is the most DOA jet at top tier right now. Doesn’t matter how good your missiles perform, when every single enemy you could face can trade missiles with you without any issues. Just another instance of the insane BR compression at top tier.
If I were you, I simply would not play the jet unless you really like this F16 variant. Otherwise its just a waste of time.
Yeah i stopped playing top tier and i just like f16s and that was only reason i gave it a go but it is more broken than ever. I play sm2 and i get 3-4 kills with ease almost every game. With the current -+1 br matchmaking, they are practically at the same br bracket. Go figure…
missile trading should simply get a lower success rate, otherwise good luck to the stealth jets in few months
I am not a fan of RNG in PvP games. If Gaijin completely rejects major BR decompression, I would be more in favor of a test of a RNG missile interception system, before anything gets implemented on the live server.

The fact that F-16C shares the same BR as F-15C, J-11B, and Su-27SM is wild.
