I would like to suggest the fast and nimble small Typ 166 Schwimmwagen armed with a 2 cm Gebirgsflak 38, which would add to the german tree a small, fast and nimble vehicle that can also swimm, which the german TT currently doesnt have at all. It would be similar to the Sd.Kfz.222 but smaller, without armor and more nimble perfect to get fast into small good positions, with great Elevation of -22° to + 90°!

History:
The Volkswagen Typ 166 (or Kfz.1/20) was a amphibious all wheel drive car for a “crew” of 4 to transport personell. It was based on the Volkswagen Typ 82 Kübelwagen and build for the Waffen SS and Wehrmacht from Fall 1942 to Summer 1944 with over 14.000 produced at Fallersleben.

The Gebirgsflak 38 was a lightweight version of the Flak 38 with a new and simplefide Mount made from lighter alloys as well as beeing able to be disassabled easily into multiple parts without tools with the heaviest beeing mere 38 kg.
The whole idea was that it could be carried by the crew or on a Horse/Donkey up hills and mountains where no bigger vehicles can drive to and be a good general purpose gun against planes and all other light vehicles it may encounter with improved elevation of -22° to +90° as such it can easily aim at targets below it down hill and all other targets even if it wasnt placed on flat ground.

While it is unknown why this was created, the german army needed to mobilise every possible gun and such a vehicle could be easy to conceal and can react fast to an attack and get ready as well as has good mobility even across rivers.

NOTE: It does NOT have a fuze, the filler is for self destruction, in game it would also explode upon impact when shattering, like the japanese 30mm Aphe.

lil’ meme machine, sure why not. +1

+1 agree

The ammunition loadout would be rather limited, but I would like to see a low tier amphibious vehicle for Germany.

+1 for this hilarious combination, especially if it capsizes if it fires forward while swimming.
