You mean greater than Tiger (& Panther) penetration:
Not far enough. Anything on the German tree that is not WW I thru WW II, or, more specifically, ~1910 - 1945 should be expunged, removed, killed with fire, & discarded into a stinking dumpster…
Huh, somehow I remembered that differently.
But I guess that would make it quite unique. Basically a mix between derp gun and TD, with longer reload and somewhat lower penetration as the Nashorn.
I do mind M44, because copypaste removes nation’s uniqueness. Once the Hummel is added i sure hope gaijin will get rid of M44 from german tree for good, just like they did with Panther 2, Tiger 105 and flak 341
M44 was used by the bundeswehr and thus should be added like all other nations which got it except france which is from the benelux tree.
It would be hypocritical not to add it to germany if all other users got it. Germany always had a focus on large artillery use and this should be represented in warthunder aswell
As for me its fine to have copypaste if nation used it but not for subtrees (tho I would prefer if we would have something original even if it was unfinished).
Subtrees should be for adding unique vehicles and not another copypaste (unless there is really need for it for nation to be competitive).
Copypaste should only be implemented if it’s absolutely necessary. And in this very case it was absolutely not necessary. Tbh no nation should get it aside of US and maybe, just maybe Japan.
The bundeswehr thingy is just a poor excuse for gaijin to add the same tank into the game multiple times
Man it’s crazy it almost like the US make money off of selling equipment to other countries, hence why almost every nation has a Sherman, cause they used them enough with the copy paste Bs
Man, it’s crazy, it’s almost as if it was Gaijin who decides what to add to which tech tree and not US military. Export and captured (non modified) vehicles shouldn’t be included in tech trees unless absolutely necessary. It’s stupid.
