I would like to suggest adding the adapted to 15,2 cm Gr.39 HL/A HEAT grenade to the KW-II 754(r), to slightly increase its pure anti armor performance, as well as to further differentiate it to the russian one.
Germany developed HEAT rounds for pretty much any caliber gun, from 3 cm upwards. These were of different types, full caliber, supercaliber, rotational, fin stabilized.
This was for 2 main purposes, 1. increase AT performance, especially for lower velocity and older guns and 2. reduce cost, these HEAT grenades are dual purpose against armor and also effective against soft targets, they use normal stock steel, and relatively cheap HE filler, usually H.5 or a mix of H.5 with TnT. With exception to the later /C variants, which used a Zink liner, they used Steel liners. Unlike APCBC rounds, they neither require special alloys or heat treatment, making them cheap and easier to produce.

This extends not just to german guns, but also to captured foreign guns, inclunding the 15,2 cm russian cannons, howitzers and cannon howitzers.

Since germany captured a rather big amount of them, they produced the 15,2 cm Sprgr. and 15,2 cm Gr.39 HL/A, which was interchangable with all 15,2 cm Guns.

This is a suggestion, since the KW-II wasnt exactly a good tank and limited in production and even less were captured and reused, as such the ammo possibly didnt reach it in service time, but is also compatible with the D-10 (and D-10T).

15,2 cm Gr.38 HL/A (HEAT) 26,7kg 4,2 kg RDX/TNT (5,3kg) 460 m/s 185mm/all/90°

+1! I like your suggestion! This would be cool to see. Would it warrant a BR increase or would it stay the same in your opinion?

probably stay the same since the HE usually one shots everything anyway

That fair. I like your thinking!

+1 the German captures already in game should have their German developed ammo and have the Soviet ammo (in most cases) removed
