12.7 and 13.0 jets with only ir missiles

i just need one developer or moderator to show us a video how you play against su30mk2 and su30mkk in a f16a ocu , netz and similar jets. Just show us how you play them and spade them in the matchmaking against jets that you cannot challenge

step 1: spawn
step 2: survive
step 3: ???
step 4: profit

(But seriously… going head on against a jet with 10+ missiles when you have less than that isn’t a bright idea xD. You need to keep your distance or failing that, survive long enough to get within range for your IR missiles. Most Flanker players tend to run for the AoA button pretty quickly if you get into a sort of 1v1 fight so watch out for R-73)

no i asked for video from the people who set the brs, plus you cant keep distance when they have weapons for distance, plus multhipathing doesnt work like it used to

It’s just symptom #15281 of compression, nothing new

yes we know

Then ask for that

Pray and trust the process is how

You don’t even need an uptier to show how bad compression is.
Pick up the french 13.0 F-16A and go fight a 13.0 su-27.

They are the exact same BR, yet:

  1. Su-27 has the best SARHs in game, up to 6. F-16 doesn’t have anything
  2. Su-27 has a 10 missile loadout. F-16 has 6.
  3. Su-27 now easily outperforms the F-16 in a gunfight, has better energy retention, and turns faster. (because of the recent FM buff)
  4. Su-27 is faster.
  5. Su-27 has better radar, with TWS and HMD and IRST, F-16 has a simple PD search radar.
  6. Su-27 has more countermeasures and those are high calibre.

We don’t even need to compare it to the 13.3 flankers, the 13.0 one already crushes it while the F-16 has no counter against it.

we have been asking constantly for months and years, and they aren’t listening

you have to make noise somehow when they arent listening and are being malicious by choice

Having spaded both J-11 and the French F-16A, I can confidently say both are balanced. Su-27 and F-16A are in completely different categories, and your comparison is narrowly focused on select details.

Missiles ct: 10 missiles is much more than you would typically use in a match, and typically would be a burden in many situations. It’s often necessary to jettison the R-27ER/ET missiles once in close-range combat with the enemy, due to their high weight and corresponding performance impact.

Radar: Su-27 radar is absolutely ass, with slow scan speeds, narrow scan sectors, and frequent failures locking targets. This overall, aside from being extremely frustrating, means the Su-27 has a slow reaction time, and is unwieldy in the majority of circumstances found in ARB matches.

Do I even need to explain how terrible the SPO-15 RWR is? It’s one of those 8-direction RWRs, lacking precise angle indication, threat type, and signal strength (indicating enemy range). All things which the F-16A does have.

F-16A is by contrast an agile light fighter. By all means, the F-16A’s radar is better than the Su-27’s. It scans much faster, with wide sectors, and is much more reliable. Not that the base F-16A needs it anyways, since it doesn’t get radar missiles, but just to correct your statement.

Also, the French F-16A has more countermeasures than the Su-27, not less, and by a LOT. 60x built-in while 180 additional are mounted (90 on each inner pylon). Sure, they can’t be taken together with the missiles, but losing 1 missile for 90 countermeasures is a great deal.

French F-16A’s AIM-9Ms are better overall than the Su-27’s R-73s. The AIM-9M’s seeker shutoff IRCCM has always been better than the FOV reduction of R-73. Seriously, the difference is huge. AIM-9Ms are harder to notice even in Air RB, and the lack of a smoke trail means it is practically invisible the second it’s motor burns out. R-73’s thrust vectoring and higher maneuverability (+HMD on Su-27) are important advantages, but ultimately outweighed by the other factors.

Su-27’s FM is better at 1-circle but still loses to F-16A at 2-circle. Su-27’s energy retention is still indisputably worse than the F-16, which will easily win any rate fight or sustained engagement. Plus the gun is worse on Su-27 due to worse muzzle velocity and slower firerate.

Ultimately F-16A excels in different aspects than the Su-27 and cannot be described as worse in the holistic view. It has notable advantages which make it more resistant in uptiers compared to Su-27. Actually, it may be better than the Su-27 overall, given all the aforementioned factors.

Ahahaha what nonsense is this? Having missiles is a burden now? Just jettison them if that’s the case.

The F-16 has barelly faster scan rate and doesnt have TWS. Both radars sustain hard locks just fine, but the Su-27 radar is much more useful and versatile.

Its defenitly worse, but it shows signal strength and still works well enough to notch stuff with.

An agile light fighter that gets rinsed by a su-27 in a dogfight anyway.

Having more than 60 countermeasures at the cost of 1 or 2 missiles is a bad trade off.

Which one is better is highly situational, but the su-27 will get most of its kills with the R-27ER regardless.

False. Its about the same in 1C, depending on speeds. And the F-16A easily loses in the 2 circle because.

False. Su-27 energy retention is currently better than even the F-16 block10.

False, the Su-27 30mm gun has much better ballistics and does far more damage. The 20mm vulcan has a very high fire rate and more ammo. Which gun is better is personal preference.

The 13.0 F-16A excels at absolutelly nothing relative to the Su-27, even the F-15A does everything better.

The closest jet to the F-16A is the Gripen A at the same BR. The gripen A isn’t also very good for 13.0, but it still does everything that the F-16 can do, with a better FM, more countermeasures, and far better radar kit, plus you can bring aim7e2 if you want.
