What is my solution?

Move all planes with ARHM to 13.3 and place a soft lock on the BR so that planes with SARHM from 13.0 - 12.3 are never allowed to fight planes with ARHM from 13.3 to 14.0 in air RB
With the new 14.7 max battle rating the top tier aircraft will see a minimum of 13.7 and at that BR with similar loadouts though different radars and flight performance , the difference in capability is still more close to each other rather than these planes making late SARHM or IR only planes unplayable in the current state of Air RB.

The solution is decompression. That is it. You’re over complicating it with this “soft locking” idea which would also make the worst fox-3 carriers only fight in up tiers.

Few things to remember VIFF isn’t modeled in game and the Harrier is missing 35% of its high speed thrust.

As far as I’m concerned War Thunder has never added a harrier.

FA2 has a worse engine, gen1 wings, no gun if you carry amraams

you know all this but its so bad

The Harrier 1 is missing significant portions of lift and turn performance but the not so bright sparks on the dev team say they simply do not believe the turn rate charts from the Gr.3 tactics manual.

Not to mention that their own source they used to “Not a Bug” my report actually confirmed that my report was correct. Long story short they didn’t even bother to read the document they cited.

I wont be surprised if this reply gets removed.

Thing about the harrier is its vulnerable in guns only fights. Missile armed harrier IRL however was a completely different monster. Some people in the Sea Harrier squadrons had a 20/1 K/D vs the likes of the F-15A. The royal navy average was 3 to 1 K/D

In every way? You can just dump your speed and stick to the harriers ass and gun him down. I’ve won sustained against F2A’s in ARB so I don’t see what the harrier could do lol
