12.0 SPAA vs GR 12.0 Air is unbalanced

The US tech tree is “balanced” not realistic. So take the experience with a grain of salt.
Abrams requires good positioning, accurate shots vs other tanks because if they score a hit you will be disabled or dead. IMO the Abrams has about the same survivability as the HSTV-L just because most players at that tier know how to oneshot an abrams.

Honestly, I feel like the best BR range that’s actually balanced for both Air and SPAA is around 10.7 or 10.3. The SPAA at that level has decent radar but still requires some actual skill, and aircraft can still evade without needing to spam an absurd amount of flares or chaff just to survive the missile hell you get at 11.7 and above.
Yeah, 10.7 gets up-tiered sometimes, but it’s nowhere near as atrocious as 11.7 or 12.0. (note i feel that the strella needs to be like 11.0 or at least higher than current BR)

And where do you siggest people park their fleet of trucks that the top tier SPAA are? There is not many maps that have good spots outside of spawn that won’t immediately result in getting sniped by a tank.

Hell many maps dont even have that for the spawn area.

They shouldn’t be invincible. It’s good that they lack space.

Nobody said they should be invincible. People should have an option to place them somewhere where planes won’t immediately know their location and also they won’t get immediately killed by tanks. Is that such a hard concept to grasp?

Also you claim a constant miasile rain by IRST(?) I assume you mean IRIS-T of which the Elde only has 8 missiles with box included. So how that equals 1 minute doesn’t make sense thus your story seems more made up than anything

No, that’s just a bad ask. They’re already too powerful against planes, they shouldn’t be buffed.

Since they are literally the only working counter it is fair. Planes at top tier were too powerful against ground vehicles for too long

Just because they used to be too strong doesn’t mean they should be unplayable now.

Exactly my point. The reason 11.7–12.0 (and honestly even 12.3) feel basically dead in Ground RB is because everything gets pulled up to 12.7. So you end up with 12.0 helis and jets dropping into 12.7 GR… which means yay, welcome to GR spamramm.

Air RB solved this by spreading out the BRs enough so that aircraft that can’t handle the spamramming don’t constantly get dragged up into it. But in Ground RB, 11.7–12.0 helicopters get nothing. They were already “meh” before, but now they have to hide behind cover the entire match just to avoid being instantly deleted by IRIS-T, Elde, or any of the other top-tier seekers — all while not having any equipment capable of countering that level of tech.

It just feels like dead gameplay.

A temporary fix could be pushing top BR up to something like 13.3. That way 12.0 becomes that mid-high tier where:

  • you’re not in RWR nightmare territory
  • you still need skill due to lack of Fire-and-Forget missiles
  • and you’re not being farmed by stuff two generations ahead of your countermeasures

Because right now, 12.0 is just suffering while 12.7 SPAAs turn every match into “who gets locked and deleted first.”

With how abused CAS is throught the entire BR ranges, and i mean all BR ranges Reserve - 13.0
Is it any suprise that after suffering through the grind and getting top tier that now there is somewhat of a real threat to CAS players that its not been abused to its fullest to try and completely shut down all CAS??

Players rushing the cap, getting 1-2 spots or 1 kill and then straight into a missile spammer to rain down pain on people who have barely even gotten sight of the enemy team within just a few mins of the match starting, well… yea those people deserve to be shut down completely and I for one 100% support as much OP SPAA systems at toptier so I can actually enjoy some tank game play without been killed from some dumb heli or jet sat 5miles or more away.

I don’t see top tier spaa in first battle or spawning to late when op team CAS already dominate the battlefield.

Depending on the BR and who I’m facing and what nation I’m playing. I often will first spawn an SPAA to kill heli’s that rush, all scout planes and anything that moves in the sky

CAS is pretty well balanced at almost all BRs. It’s just toptier where SAMs are too strong.

Heli rushers are become rare in top tiers.

The top tier air meta is odd.

BR and upranking forces 12.0 br lineups to face 12.7+ lineups
12.0 jets need to get within the ~10km of the new top tier AAs to ID
But you need jets to kill helis

Having one jet/heli/AA isn’t bad. Having multiples tilts the gameplay HARD in one direction.

Playing as CAP once there’s ~2 or 3 AAs with reach on the map it’s a no fly zone. BUK+Pantsir combo goes hard.
