Edit. I see that many of you are mixing BR compression and bad BR placement. I am not advocating for BR compression, on the contrary. But in this topic I want to address some jets that have bad BR placement on the current state of the matchmaking/meta.
Furthermore, my experience with these jets might differ from yours if you are not very experienced, because although IR only platforms are easier to use, they don’t have as strong an impact on the match as other jets with good radar missiles if properly played.
For example, I can still do well with an F-16A or a Kfir, but my performance in the match relies on an inexperienced enemy team and luck factor far more than playing on a Mirage2k or Yak141 where I can get consistently more kills and better results overall.

F-16A and F-16A Netz need to drop from 12.7 to 12.3
Kurnass 2000 needs to drop from 12.3 to 12.0
JH-7A 12.3 to 11.7 (extremely overtiered)
Su-25SM3 12.3 to 11.7 (extremely overtiered)
Kfir C7 12.0 to 11.7 (we have the F-5E FCU which is almost equivalent in loadout with a radar that can slave missiles and has gun sight, and a better FM at 11.3)
The jets that carry only IRCCM missiles that I did not mention need BR decompression first in order to balance them.
I agree overall but as I noted in my above comment I think some of these suggestions to downtier are fine without actually compressing (ie they actually belong lower) just not as low as he is suggesting in some cases.
Nah both are fine at 13.0. F-16 isn’t that much worse, especially considering the game is just mega compressed at these BRs and that’s why they are the same BR.
12.0 and up don’t get many downtiers to begin with. These F-16’s routinely face FOX3s, and every other 12.7 is considerably better because they got radar missiles, not to mention the powercreep of 13.0s when compared to the lowly F-16A/Netz just 0.3 below.
We already have the premium Su-39 at 11.7, the Su-25SM being above it makes no sense since its simply worse AND with less missiles.
Kfir c7 is just slightly better than a mig21bis. F-5E FM is far better.
Ok… But it doesn’t. It’s literally an F-16 ADF block15 with aim-9m and if you carry less than 6 missiles you can have some extra CM’s.
The gripenA is simply better, and the other 13.0s much better. But we can’t lower it without decompression, the ones I mentioned can be lowered without causing new issues
12.0-12.3 Phantoms have up to 6 aim7Fs that always forces an IR only jet to be defensive before merging, and if the F-16 notches your radar missile and tries to circle back to launch an aim-9L/Python 3 all you need to do is 1 flare them and keep going. 12.3 aircraft don’t face 11.0 mig21’s, the only mig21 that the F-16 faces is the Bison which is far better at 12.3 with IRCCM missiles and R-27Rs that are better than Aim7Fs
You will have a far easier experience with an F-4S against the F-16A than the F-16A has against an F-15A just 0.3 above it, not to mention 13.7s
I did. Decompression is very needed across most BRs but these adjustments are absolutely fine without it. We know Gaijin hates decompression.
Almost all 10.7s have flares and will crush the su-39 if it doesn’t have a sneaky shoot on you. The A-10s with aim-9L and the early su-25s are more of a problem because they face many flareless jets.
The Kfir has just like 0.5 deg/s of better sustained turn rate than the mig21bis and has similar acceleration. Overall the FM is not much better than it. And if you think the kfir FM is better than the F-5E FM we can setup a quick duel for you to see…
Oh wait… You don’t have the kfir c7 or any Israeli jet, how could you know…
