It’s unbearable on the ground and in the air, so games when I take out my harrier I end up not getting any kills in it due to the 4 billion other friendly cas up, (IMO playing cas in air RB is depressing, if Gaijin gave us a proper CAS game mode I’d be there immediately). Although taking out a spitfire/cannonstang and going cap is good money at lmao.
They could easily fix the problem by renaming the game mode into “Air realistic battles with tanks”.
A-10a early having 23km range maverick that almost no one can counter if they decide to just hover above you 10km+
honestly planes sees more airtime in ground battle rather than air battle itself
The A10A’s are a very big part of the problem for several reasons revolving around the AGM-65B and D
Firstly they Possess AGMs with a 23km Range which against stationary targets like SPAA - 10km plus ranges are achievable at 10.3. Even with Osa coming in this will not affect the A10.
Secondly the A10 can ripple fire 6 of these missiles very quickly and still has room for a pair of GBU-8s and more dumb bombs on the Premium version…it can neutralise all SPAA in a DEAD attack then massacre the rest of the team.
Thirdly the A10 carrying 6 Mavericks is a whole 1.3 BRs below the AV-8B NA which can only carry 4 of either variant (L model is a single shot as you have to lase for every Missile) The only major difference is the G model is IR so night capable
Laser Guided munitions are less of a problem as their rate of fire is lower, more skill is required and it limits the launch aircraft manouvers using them. The A10C is fine as there needs to be a hard counter to Pantsir…but the A models are a pain
and they had the audacity to say “dont camp” while spawncamping, they need to either
A) remove the munition and replace it with something more suitable for its br or
B) nerf the range of it from 23km to 13-15km
