i meant the terrain where it would be deployed, with is coastal defense and urban combat(straight up what taiwan said).
something like in the armata man-less turret?
Not with 30+ Hp/t.
lighter and faster. APS as well.
Where crossing rivers would still be needed, desperately, when in turn it wouldn’t be able to cross normal bridges. (Unless they tear down half the bridges and rebuild them to ABRAMS standards).
Likely.
im pretty sure taiwan knows what theyre doing to a point.
interesting to see man-less turrets getting more use, i hope they prove useful with time
Well clearly the Ukrainians benched nearly all of their challies for a reason. ABRAMS can get across certain bridges but to be used as fast reaction forces may prove to be problematic.
they used them as much as they can, and they still do when they can. the only reason they cant use them as much as they want to is because of the severe lack of spare parts, like britain doesnt even have enough spares for their own small fleet of challengers let alone ukraines.
And due respect your opinion is absolutely wrong, I won’t elaborate further since you haven’t provided any solid arguments :)
Guys stop derailing the thread with debates about other tanks. Lets try keep this one focused.
Oh yea Gaijin will probably make this tank shit because “not enough evidence”. Then the playerbase will complain and Gaijin will make it slightly better. This has always been the case lol
I’m more interested in China getting the AFT10, but this MBT would be nice
The new MBT was introduced as the “Type 100” in today’s parade. No information on specs though.
Type 100 Tank and Type 100 Support Tank
I guess ZTZ-100 and ZBD-100, right?
Only disapointing thing about the parade.
It was not mentioned, only the Type 100 tank and the Type 100 support tank were mentioned
The support tank may not be ZBD because it has radar and air defense requirements, as well as SPAA and IFV missions
In English stream they called it “Type 100 Fighting Vehicle”. And I´m 99 percent sure it carries up to 7 dismounts.
ZTZ100 on the parade
