HISTORY
Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace and Zetor has been collaborating since 2020 on integration of the Kongsberg Protector RS4, and also to enchase the defence of both Czech Republic and Slovakia. This vehicle that the suggestion is about, were demonstrated in Norway at Kongberg Defence & Aerospace’s firing range at Hengvann, Norway. Kongsberg integrated the protector RS6 weapon station on the vehicle and Zetor the Gerlach truck. The vehicle/configuration has not been adapted by anyone yet and this were put together specifically for this live fire demonstration held in Norway 2023.

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace are the word leading supplier of weapon stations and a number of innovative solutions, with both remote controlled weapon stations and turret, missiles and integrated weapon systems. Its a Norwegian company, and is a continuation of the Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk established in 1814.

Zetor Engineering was established as recent as 2014, and is owned by Zetor vehicle which was established in 1946, and is mostly known for providing great tractors. They provided the vehicle, the Zetor Gerlach which is Developed by Zetor engineering Slovakia, and is a light armored all terrain vehicle that was for the first time shown in 2018. Its designed to mount remote weapon stations and to carry equipment and resources, its also protected against small arms fire, .30 cal to 155mm artillery shell fragments from 60 or so meters away. There has as of 2023 been made ca 8x units of the Gerlach.

The vehicle has the Kongsberg RS6 weapon station which has a 30x113mm M230LF cannon integrated which can fire both SAP-HE and airburst ammunition, and additionally has an 127mm javelin missile mounted externally as a “Coaxial” weapon. The gunner/operator is located in the rear left seat of the vehicle, and the turret do as well have lock on target with lead.

IN GAME
This could be a really versatile and fun vehicle to the game, both added to Norway and the Czech Republic, (this suggestion is for Norway). It has the 30mm cannon which can defeat much of the armor it faces, in addition to shoot down lower flying aircraft and drones, and fight heavy armor with the javelin anti tank guided missile it has. It would serve the role as an light tank, or maybe a SPAA/ATGM carrier.
