If a Yugoslav TT gets added, especially Ground. There’s only one part of Yugoslavia where it would be perfect for a Ground Forces Map, possibly an air map to. Northwest Bosnia/Croatian border region around Bihac and the Zeljava Air Base. Both for WWII and Post war vehicles. The map may be different for the former since the Airbase didn’t exist yet. Mentioned that detail any ways since that area is also a hotspot for Partisans

Also if Bihac does be added as a map I wonder if the Krajina Express gets represented?

Perhaps, but I can’t see them using Zeljava itself on the ground map unfortunately because the terrain on which it rests is, naturally, flat, and the complex itself is built into the face of a steep mountain and the other side drops off in altitude slightly. Eitherway, Bihac itself might make for a generic city map but I wouldn’t count on it.

Fair enough… I was saying that because Zeljava is famous for having their Airforce base largely underground. It’s not unique to Zeljava even in Yugoslavia, there are underground airbases in various countries such as Switzerland, Sweden and Albania as examples. Albania could be a better fit if you really want to have significant portions of the map underground as the main gimmick.
I’m mainly pitching this because it was a major zone of combat in their theatres during WWII & the Yugoslav wars.
Indeed it was and it’s not necessarily a bad suggestion, it just my personal take on it, though other than the Greek ground map there is no other for the Balkans so anything would work in my taste. The air map is mostly my interest cause I play a lot of air, Bosnia would be a perfect air map, especially if it’s presented in the same scale as the Tropical coast that we saw with Nuclear Thunder.

An underground airbase map would be awesome as a ground / infantry map. Ya you got that big open space which is going to cause sniping just add some trenches and tank trenches and stuff. Great model pics might steal them for a suggestion post.
Would be fun to have to fight your way though the bunker but you would be immune to CAS.

Imagine if there was a Sturmtiger inside Željava just waiting for someone to… come inside
Oh that looks nice
The name made it sound like a rakija production center 😭😭😭

Two new versions of prototype vehicles have sprawled up in the past two weeks partaining to the slovenian armed forces. I’ve gotten news of a few other interesting prototypes but those are still in the early stages of testing thus i will not include them in this post
First new variant: Up-Armored Patria chasis with a 25mm Mangart 25 RCWS with higher level protection than its base design. This one is being considered for service alongside Patria mangart 30 version as a faster firing cousin of the other 30mm turret.

The other one is again fitted with a standard light Mangart 25 LW version, but this time in combination with General Dynamics’ Pandur platform, or Valuk for Slovenian production. Hearsay suggests the Slovenian army would be interested in making this design standard due to a company called ARMAS already having the licence to produce the Valuk platform.

They teased the J22 Orao M1a variant as a premium pack vehicle, maybe that will be the first vehicle from our tree that is included in the game, being from Serbia… Absolutely cant wait for it to be added…

It’s a leak, although very specific. I’d be very sad if they decide to put it in the USSR or something like that if it does come actually, since I’m hoping for the tech tree or at the very least some combination to come forth.

Probably somewhere nobody wants it to go sadly.
Who knows. Hopefully
the problem is it will probably go to russia and that makes 0 sense serbia/yugoslavia was neutral and anti ussr so its like putting poland in ussr tech tree it only belongs to a yugo tech tree even serbia today is neutral my question is j22m1a varint can carry some pretty op missiles which are in development and in video it shows weapons that are in development even the modernisation is quite new and we know little but we will see sry for bad english

Welp. Another day another Slovenian rat vehicle. I’m sorry for the 50 simmillar things I post, but this country spent most of its defense budget on a railway and I don’t have much to show in terms of ground equipment. But anyways!
It was announced that most Slovenian defense companies will be going to EUROSATORY and we should be getting lots of new products. One of them is yet again from Valhalla.
This time, a new turret configuration was featured named Asgard 230. It has Northrop Grumann’s M230LF 30mm chain gun most commonly found on apache helicopters. In game this weapon is already found on the American AH-64D Apache.
So i’d imagine this thing would be a British fox like vehicle running around with a 30mm chain gun firing XM211 Proximity, M789/XM1198 HEDP, M788/XM950 TP, TP-T, HEI-T, and NATO standard 30mm x 113mm ADEN/DEFA ammunition. Due to this being a vehicle mounted weapon, it is a slightly modified variant with a longer barrel improving bullet velocity and firepower, with the trade-off being a slower fire rate at around 200 rounds per minute.
For more information about the weapon itself, you can get data here
