It’s a bit different. While it uses the same M230LF, the Asgard 230 version has better anti-drone capabilities and modularity. It comes with an integrated radar and the ability to hold missiles. So in hindsight a bit more armored upgrade of the Midgard 230.
But I’d hold on for a bit because the information we have right now is very limited. My info only comes from their post and hearsay from people who distantly worked on this project
The SKYTHUNDER 300 is a modern Slovenian self-propelled air defence and counter-UAS system developed by Valhalla Turrets. The system was officially unveiled at Eurosatory 2026 mounted on a Mercedes-Benz Zetros 3848A 8x8 chassis, representing one of the most advanced air-defence platforms developed within the former Yugoslav region.

With how much domestic stuff you guys have inspired me to make a infantry discussion for Yugoslavia after reading about there domestic small arms industry. Though some of there weapons are copies or not great there all interesting. Some of Croatia’s small arms are death traps to say the least so they should be added!
There’s actually quite a few vehicles that appears in Vulovic’s music video albums. Not just Narod je Htito/Mlada Srpska Garda. The Panteri album in particular you can find some interesting vehicles in there.
The vehicle in question is this one in the link below, just with a different armament loadout
Just wanted to ask a couple of dumb questions:
Was the CCKW 553 armed with a captured gun and is there any images of when it still had the browning?
How did Yugoslavia obtain the m38/50 mount for it’s pionir trucks? I know these were naval mounts but were these obtained pre or post war?
Was the T-55a with the SO-76 turret made with captured parts?
Was the German weaponry used on Stuart’s and the S.35 that was later modified with the 6 pounder captured during active combat or were they abandoned/surrendered?
Define captured parts (captured from the JNA/ Obtained from defecting JNA)
Captured and then taken away to be modified in workshops before heading back to the frontline where it then saw active conflict. There are many photos especially during the Race to Trst in 1945 of these being utilised by the JA
My 3rd question was ment when the tank itself was constructed, did it use parts captured from other factions or were all the parts obtained via inheritence/defection.
