Yugoslav Ground Tech Tree (Including Bosnia, Croatia, N. Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia!)

I mean, it’s either of these two:
-theyre trying desperately to squeeze more money out of the game or;
-were actually getting trolled;
Given their poor history of managing things i wouldn’t exclude the first option but that’s just my opinion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m very suspicious of it too. Singapore, Indonesia and North Korea going to China? Not happening.

I think they’ve taken prior leaks (Osa, Swiss F-5 + F/A-18, etc.) and just surrounded it with speculation. I highly doubt half of the ‘confirmed’ stuff is actually confirmed.

Why are you guys so against Poland and Yugoslavia together? I get it if Poland is introduced, and Yugoslavia placed as a sub-tree (or vice versa), but a combination of the two in a fictional coalition would make for an awesome tech tree, along with Ukraine, as all of them use heavily modified foreign equipment, mostly Soviet, and it could reduce copy paste.

So long as Yugoslavia gets good rep and is REDFOR in 10_2 Ground Sim I don’t mind all that much tbf.

equal position would be ok with most of us im sure but when they said “sub” for yuga it’s actually quite hilarious since yuga offers more unique stuff than poland if we count post- yuga stuff

An idea for a profile picture:
Marjan Jelen, a Slovene test pilot in YuAF that was the first to break the sound barrier in a fully domestic Yugo jet, the J-22.

As already everybody knows, we love to put rubber armour on everything, so here’s M36s with it.

It’s probably been posted here already but we’d need to have Miss Universe Yugoslavia (Daliborka Stojšić) with the MiG-21 as well!

This needs more traction if we want it to become an actual thing

Very much looking forward to seeing what else has gone into it. I see articles stating there is also planned armor changes beyond the electronics. I wonder if they’re going to slap some BRAT on it as well.

Apparently news portals are reporting that Croatia is planning to buy 50 brand new Leopard 2A8s

*Update regarding Croatian Leopards 2A8

Defense Minister Ivan Anušić and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius will sign in Berlin the letter of intent on the procurement of 50 Leopard 2A8 MBT for the needs of the Croatian Army.

In exchange Croatia will send 30 M-84 MBT & 30 M-80 IFV to Ukraine for the first delivery probably at the start of 2025.
And and the total price of the new Leopard 2A8 MBT would be reduced by donated amount of Croatian equipment.

While I was looking for information about the M-636 and M-320, I accidentally found a photo of the Sd.Kfz.250 PaK 38 in action.

I think Janes made a mistake here. Yugoslavia never used 9K33 Osa / SA-8 Gecko. They did however use a naval version of the system called 4K33 OSA-M / SA-N-4 Gecko which was installed on two Yugoslav Koni-class and two Kotor-class frigates. The system entered the armament of the JNA in 1978/1979.
It used 9M33 missiles, which in JNA bore the designation RZ-13.
