This is massive, we need to make more noise about this for the devs to hear!
I appreciate the work, Yugoslavia is massively under-represented in pretty much every game I can think of.
Lots of refreshing stuff and while you guys are interested in avoiding too much copy paste- Doesn’t go without saying that amongst the AA/TDs is potential for a ZU-57-2 as they did serve in the YPA.

I feel like Yugoslavia would be the only viable nation that could be added without being overly copy-paste. They have a lot of domestic designs and a good mix of Western and Eastern vehicles. Apart from ground, they also have a great Air tree. Would love to see this added to the game sometime

“The Bradley Fighting Vehicles are being transported to the Djuro Djaković Special Vehicles (DDSV) facility where they will be fully refurbished. The extensive refurbishment process will consist of an overhaul of the vehicles’ drive train, installation of new weapons systems and armament, painting, and inspection to ensure the vehicles all meet the highest standards of performance. Once refurbishment is complete, DDSV personnel will be trained and equipped to provide long-term maintenance of the Croatian Army’s Bradley fleet. The work at DDSV will also open up possibilities for the facility to work on other partner countries’ Bradley vehicles. DDSV was chosen as the site of refurbishment due to the company’s significant technical expertise and strong reputation.”

  • I’m really curious what this entails for Croatia’s M2A2 ODS-SA modernization. A completely unique Bradley that differs from any U.S.-variant.
  • This is purely my imagination but imagine an M2 Bradley with a Spike-launcher instead of the TOW-launcher, a Slovakian 30mm GTS-30/N (a 2A42 derivative) with a high-RoF and chambered in NATO 30x173mm with APFSDS-T rounds, Fotona 3rd-generation thermal imagers (w/ CITV), LIRD-4B LWS, and RRAK ERA. In all likelihood it’s just going to be a cleaned up M2A2 ODS-SA with a cleaned up transmission/engine/suspension, hull-restoration, new thermal viewers, new command and control interfaces, new comms gear, and updated FCS for the guns and TOW missiles from what it sounds like but it’s still a major firepower/capability upgrade.

  • The Croatian Ministry of Defense is currently negotiating with Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) on the acquisition of new Leopard 2A8 MBT as part of the long-term development plan for the Croatian Armed Forces until 2028.

  • The first information we have is that the initial batch will be 30 Leopard 2A8 MBTs. We’ll probably get more information about the order soon.

  • If everything comes to fruition, the Croatian Army (approximately in 2025/26) will receive a company of 12 Leopard 2A4 MBTs (same as Hungary in 2020) that will be used as a bridge between the M-84 and the more advanced Leopard 2A8 MBT for training crews, technicians and upgrading the existing infrastructure to be able to support modern MBTs.

Another question. We know that there is still an existing M-91 Vihor tank somewhere, where exactly though? I’d love to take a roadtrip to see it and get more info on it.
And second, there was a more potent round being developed at the end of the federation’s days, is there more info on it? It could be a lifesaver for higher tier additions such as the M-84A and M-91 if they get added into the game and when they need better rounds that are also domestically made.

To my knowledge the Croatian Vihor got turned into the M-95 Degman and the unfinished Serbian Vihor is stuck somewhere in storage.

Regarding the shell, I have not heard of it, but I hinestly doubt it was ready for testing before the war started.

As much as I love this proposal, putting the engine nerfed Hellcat at 3.0 is FILTHY work. That’s a 4.0 (maybe 4.3) in any book. Plainly better gun than the Hetzer / Pancake, still acceptable mobility, full turret, and no R3 / 10P / Sub / etc to play against makes its armor approach usefulness. Closest comparison would be the PVKV II.

When the proposal gets updated I could consider raising the BR of the mutilated Hellcat, but the reason it sits so low is because it would have less than 8hp/t and could still be penetrated by 12.7mm machine guns frontally.

PVKV II for a comparison has 14hp/t when rounded up while also having much superior hull armor (though this isn’t so relevant to the vehicle).
The only advantage I can imagine for the FAPcat is the possibly better turret traverse, depending on how that gets modelled.

4.0 and 4.3 seems like much to steep of a BR increase in my opinion.
If the BR were to be increased I’d say that 3.3 is fairer, at the very most 3.7 but that’s pushing it quite far.
What do you think?

The Hellcat also has a 4s faster reload (6.1 vs 10s aced), twice as fast turret traverse, and marginally better rounds. I think it needs to be at least 3.7, unless they nerf the reload.

That is a very fair point.

I was working on a large update before I went on vacation and figured I could continue it abroad, but my laptop all but died, so I’ll start making several smaller updates rather than one very large one from next week onwards when I return.

My first priority will be to update the tree itself with rank VIII and to update some BRs.
Another vehicle that is partciularly bright on my radar is the NTV MTU-4M, which sits ridiculously low whej compared to other MANPADS carrying vehicles.

If there are any other vehicles of note such as this then please mention it and they will get looked into!

Damnit. I just remembered I need to do the HARPAS suggestion.

I’ll get to work on it now.

I literally in my dreams remembered the M10 and how I’d argue that’s still a far superior vehicle to the FAPcat.
Do you think with those compared the FAPcat would be better served at 3.3 or still at 3.7?

Planned making it, but couldn’t due to holidays. Wish you good luck.

Thanks man. I felt bad. I had told @Mahiwew that I was going to do it a while ago but between IRL and other things I had completed forgotten.
It’s submitted now 🤙 still needs a little more information in regards to its weight, height, and tracking RADAR since there’s no public information on it yet and just some speculation. Also the specification of 3rd-generation thermal imagers/cameras for the Commander/Gunner. Other than that it’s good.
