I know this is the ground thread but among others the slovenian MoD mentions the purchase of AW139M helicopters which could provide a good high tier heli for the tree.
Of course, it should go to the Italian tech tree first since it originates from there ))

While on the subject of Helicopters, Macedonia’s MoD has announced that it’s going to purchase AW159 and AW169M helicopters.

PS: Obligatory “Helikopter” cameo [song] - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ExGuHWdXCE

Note: Just an interesting side-note, nothing more or less.

Time for Bosna to make a cameo!

  1. Bosna operates the WZ-551, it might be the missle-carrier or the one with the 105mm gun, which version varies from the source. It might be specified on the official website of it’s Army, but it won’t open for me. My educated guess is that it’s the latter since that’s the one which China produces for the export market, while the missile-carrier is for domestic use. Both are already in the game as the AF109 and WMA301.

AF109

WMA301

  1. Bosna operates the Romanian APR-40, basically the same MLRS as the Soviet BM-21 Grad, but on a different truck.

PS: I would love to see Romania added to the game, ofcourse, as part of Yugoslav TT. The TR-85 and TR-125 would be an even further dash of uniqueness to the TT. Ofcourse, those are not the only interesting vehicles that would come with Romania.

Note: If Bosna does indeed operate the WMA301, I would make it a part of the regular TT, as China’s is a Premium Vehicle. In the same manner as how the M8 LAC is a USA Premium Vehicle, while being a Chinese Reasearchable Vehicle.

Mentioning Romania led to a rabbit hole… what lied at the end was this:

PS: Yes, I made that. Was more relaxing than playing WT, 10/10, would make a TT again.

According to The Military Balance 2023, they use 11 ‘M-92s’ – which seems to be an alternative designation for the Type 92/ZSL-92 – in a self-propelled anti-tank role. Which I guess could be either. This article claims 10 in the APC format. But I can’t find any other information, nor any images. I have a feeling it’s likely either just APCs, or they don’t have any at all.

Bosna is hiding the true configuration of those vehicles better than the USA, Russia, China, France and the UK are hiding the specifications of their MBT’s.

Some people: Yugoslavia wouldn’t have enough vehicles to be it’s own TT

Serbia: And I took that personally

Cool TT but also it could be added as a sub-tree of the USSR, to limit copy paste vehicles

Would love a New Nation to grind! +1 from me!

Yes and USSR should be a Chinese sub tree because their vehicles are now inferior to the chinese ones and cannot be at equal grounds to other nations’.
The same thing that you said but different.
I’m sure that yugobros will agree that they’d rather not have their stuff in the game than be sub treed to a russian to whom we have only superficial connections. No offense there

Bro how is the same things but different? I don’t understand why people are getting so excited over the same thing, And only to see them to play more foreigner tanks in other tech-tree, Question what’s the point of adding tech-tree to the game only to be the same to the game and having 3 diffrentt vehicles ?

The same thing? You may say that ground at higher tiers is based on T-72s regarding MBTs but they’re mostly just straight upgrades and some even better than russian original modern 72s. Besides that they got their own IFVs and SPAAs, more than any other potential new tech tree.
Their air is also way more unique.
So is the excitement justified? In this case yes it is.

Agree with some for point but in my opinion it isn’t worth making a whole new tech tree for the few jewels of tanks that are unique, Cool tech-tree, cool vehicles, But i wouldn’t like to grind a hole new tech-tree for a rank worth of vehicles, and that why i am suggesting it could be added to the ussr, it would fill out the gaps of the Yugoslav line ups offer Planes for realictic mode and air, it’s just a net benefit without doing any big changes.

Well there’s still the even more unique air tree.
But saying it’s not worth basically makes every other candidate tree worthless to be an independent one because if you go by those standards sweden and israel are kinda out of the question too.
Adding it to USSR is a sin, a large one though, they got way more stuff still to be added and god forbid we mix politics into that.
It’s not a benefit to the ussr tree in any way shape or form and has enough to stand on its own.
( Chad tito vs virgin ussr army of failure assasins)
