Yugoslav Air Force Tech Tree

Bear in mind that it’ll only be able to be equipped with the missiles that the Yugos had, and the Yugos did not use MiG-23s. So it might be limited to R-60s only. Besides, I believe only a single version was in flight worthy condition.

So if it was a squadron vehicle would it be br 11.3 or 11.0 do to it only having R-60s, also did it only have R-60s or R-60M?

It depends if the Yugos had R-60Ms.

Yes i think they did have some from there MiG-29s

YuAF had R-60Ms, their MiG-29s also came in with R-73s.

Utva 75 with four M79 Osa AT rocket launchers. Too bad the aircraft has a maximum speed of only 215 km/h.

It would be an alright 1.0 attacker.

Po2 equivalent perhaps?

This shouldn’t be a problem, as they could get all the armaments they could possibly carry. This has been done in the past, for example Thai Alpha Jets did not have the BK-27 gunpods IRL, yet we have them ingame.

Do they have them though? I checked the thai alpha jets yesterday and did not notice any gunpods.

They do have them, check the WT wiki

The central cannon is the only one I can see

Yes that’s the gunpod that I meant lol, IRL they don’t have those

Yeah I just got confused since you wrote gunpodS as in plural. And I got confused since first I don’t really think of that as a gunpod and more an internal weapon. And second the fact that the French alpha jet actually has 2 gunpods it can take.

Ahh my bad

hi, im a new WT player and i also have the idea of adding yugoslavia in the game, now my efforts are not comparable to yours, cz u’ve been keeping this thing alive since 2023 ( isnt that the year u and some of ur frineds published a conceptual ground tech tree?), now im developing my own version of the tree (only ground for now ) and i’de be so happy to work with u or just support u cz u made an excellent work, with all the effort and researches, i think that i some months of work i will post my own version of the ground an air tech tree, now im still developing and all but, i’ve checked ( not deep research so maybe i’m wrong ) but for tier 2 there is a lot of stuff, i will be so happy to show u my sketch for air ( is just a raw sketch not even initiaded, just a small start ) and maybe u also thoutgh of adding the vehicles i though, now if i get at least 5 up-votes im gonna publish the sketch ( it would be weird, cz it is just a list of aircraft ) with non founded documentataion but if someone wants to see the thing i’d be glad to show it, spaking of tier 2 in my list i included a lot of domestic aircraft ( some might be fictional/prototype only or just don0t belong to that BR ) but i will still write some below: Ikarus IK-3 late production (D)

Rogožarski IK-3 interceptors (D)

Fizir FP-3 (D)

IK-2 derivatives (D)

Zmaj Fizir FN-3 (D)

PVT advanced (D)

Ikarus 214 upgraded (D)

Rogožarski IK-3 heavy armament variant (D)

Strike (3, domestic):

Ikarus IM-3 (D)

Rogožarski PVT Attack Mk II (D)

IM-3 modified variant (D)

Bombers (2, imported/modified):

Savoia-Marchetti SM.79 improved (I)

Dornier Do 17 variant (I) The letter “I” indicates the imported/foreign aircraft, now as u said u want the tree to be easy&fast to grind wothout additional stuff that might seem boring, just saying, that’s my advice ( even thoutgh im probably the last person to give u advices ), weel good luck with the project!

i meant tier 3 sorry, forget the sketch i just realised my mistake, my bad

What is Ikarus IM-3, Ikarus 214 upgraded? there were more variants, some armed, some having submarine radar, PVT advanced? Can you provide sources?

This might seem so unprofessional, but i used chatgpt as a consultant cz im not an edpert of thise thing i have apassion for aircraft but not military ones ( that doesn’t matter ) but i surely will ask chatgot where did he find this names, i know it is stupid to use ai, especially chatgpt that isnt that much reliable, but it is a sketch just a base from where i could start to make an air tech tree concept

DO NOT, chat gpt gets a LOT wrong
