I honestly doubt even half of these are purely flagged by community and not mods.
Edit: kinda proved my point, as this comment was apparently flagged by the “community” for some [REMOVED] reason…

Gaijin should just run a permanent script on the forum that edits hidden posts and everyone will be slightly less mad about Gaijin.
Alternatively, Gaijin could simply just create an option for users to see flagged posts by default, and only enable flagging for users who opt in.

Mods wouldn’t need to though, so it’s definitely the ‘community’ aka the abusing few who think it’s all so good to be ‘using that feature’…
Wouldn’t it be easier and better for gaijin to just silently hide the comments that they don’t like (ones saying literally anything bad about them) and then pointing their finger to us?
No hate towards them if they tell us it was the players who flagged the comments.

I think the same happened to me but the message I recieved was positive.
So, it is annoying to be truly false flagged (watch your language first, it might just be that) but you have the opportunity to edit.
Editing is as much as adding an extra full stop at the end. Then if someone reflags it (presumption here is it someone abusing the system) then it will go to moderation. Someone clearly false flagging I presume will result in the message being kept open and hopefully the abuser given some pointers on how to behave.
Of course if anyone has an experience of total deletion of a perfectly fine comment then I am all ears; my experience has been just on those unfairly flagged and can’t think of any deleted fully, just loads of someone having a tantrum.

You get that on the ones that they ‘approve’… It’s all flagging by members, making so much workload…
I know, I was just grasping at straws to work out what was wrong with the comment.
No, the only exchanges I have had have been positive. But I have yet to try and overturn a deleted post so will see what happens if we get there.
