Yep, everyone hate this and everyone don’t wanna speak up about this. Once someone ever mention this…one specific group of players would bomb you with “skill issue” because they wanna keep their wheelchairs in this game forever.
Not to mention the amount of urban CQB maps, trying to peek, shoot and then get back into cover in Russian MBTs ain’t a winning prospect.
They like to use the “holding W” as an insult, but it’s often the only way to play, you need to charge out shoot and keep going forward to the next cover position, trying to reverse back into the previous one is a death sentence.
Open maps are both curse and blessing for Russian tanks due to their design.

Its not a bad tank tho, and if its about “we ran out of tanks, went to SPAA”, its being in lineup could change some things. I mean it has decent protection in turret and crazy shot for its rank. I like it at 10.3 lineup on some maps

Indeed, the Russian/Soviet MBT’s that on average have:
- Worse acceleration.
- Lower top speed.
- Significantly worse vertical gun traverse.
- Slower turret traverse.
- Abysmal reverse.
- Terrible reverse steering.
- Slower reload.
- Fewer crew.
- Worse ammunition stowage.
- Massively worse gun depression.
Have an advantage in frontal armour protection, and even then that is easily bypassed with basic weakspot knowledge and basic aim.
And that is not even mentioning the fact that 3/4 times you can simply overmatch side armour, making the frontal armour advantage entirely pointless.
So it’s just a coincidence that the people who share the opinion of Arcttic and yourself almost exclusively have below average stats, whilst the players who disagree with the statement on average have good/excellent stats?
The difference is that you’ve never played high tier Russia, whilst I’ve played high tier Russia, USA, Germany and Britain.

But this seems to be rather common, where the people who think Russian MBT’s armour plays a significant role are the ones who only face them, and have not played these MBT’s themselves.
Game doesn’t award you to use several tanks in line-up. Non-premium user will die with 1st pick, takes 2nd and dies again. As the result negative SL balance. Sometimes I take free vehicle and do kills, but it’s situational. I play aggressively and die often, game punishes me, but sitting 20 minutes in battle not profitable at all

Soviet tanks so “weak” but looking at 10.7+ BR red push shows opposite. Sorry but all those weaknesses should not make 300 -400 queue, perhaps red weaknesses in War Thunder actually advantages.

The game`s earning mechanic circles around ingame time so making more = staying more. However, you also right that several 0-kill spawns will lead only to spending more sl than earning. So that does not mean you dont get awarded for several line-up tanks - it means you get awarded for several resultative tanks in line-up
However its not the point either, as the author of this thread wants us to believe that he lost that game because NATO side has less respawns avaliable, which is only true if we count ALL the event and premuim machines AND dont even think of using backups.

It was long time ago. Before they added BMPT, there was bigger queue because of T80UE1, then BMD4M, now B3 Arena and add here the strongest missiles KH38 and LMUR. This combo makes soviet nation number 1 to play. Oh, and take Pancir to intercept all bombs and missiles because radar and missiles allow it. What nation can give so many powerful gameplay
nothings wrong, i played ~10 rounds yesterday and i lost 8 of them. i played USSR at top teir
I played 10 sim battles today and lost 10 against soviets. When BMP2 tanked 2 shells I was shocked
i rarely play sim, and when i did ( 3 battles) we still lost.

Thats certainly true. USSR got plenty of interesting machinery last updates, so its only natural it has big queues. In contrary, the US had same huge lines when they added F-18, but in different game mode. Its mostly not about the OP-ness, its about new unique stuff. The stuff they added to US or Germany grounds aint half that cool and unique. And those which were added to minor nations well… they were added to minor nations…
