YF-23 Black Widow

Could we see the YF-23 sometime in the future when other stealth jets get added?

It’s possible we could see the YF-23 added in the future, but since it was a prototype and not a production aircraft, it would likely be an event vehicle rather than part of the main tech tree.

They tend to reserve spots in the tech tree for planes that saw active service, while prototypes often show up in special events or limited-time releases.

I would rather it be in the tech tree as it reportedly flew better that the f22

They will add it as a cash grab premium in the future, I’ll bet on this

nah. hell nah. We would need to start another boycott :))

I doubt that. Gaijin is greedy.

I’m having a friend make a suggestion post…

I’m ngl lazy so I’d probably buy it

Why is this not a suggestion?! Give me my YF 23 and YF 23N

Its possible. but whether stealth aircraft beyond anything other than the F-117 is a big maybe.

Trying to model and balance stealth vs stealth is going to be hard enough as it is, without also trying to make it fair and balanced for none-stealth aircraft to compete.

There really isnt enough options to flush out the BR for every nation.

F-22, J-20 maybe the Su-57 (quite a bit of debate around whether its actually all that stealthy)

and then the F-35, which strictly speaking, isnt a A2A fighter.

Aircraft like the Tyhpoon, Rafale, Gripen, F-15, etc etc etc would all face a fairly notable disadvantage in a typical match. Whilst I wouldnt discount them entirely, it would be really hard to balance fairly.

I can see the game capping out at the late Gen 4.5s and apart from the F-117, the rest to be omitted.

I agree with you but Gaijin aren’t going to stop adding modern vehicles (excluding Naval of course) and the demand for it is high from these typical Gen 4 jet ret@rds.
WT is a lot like DCS where most of the fun stuff is Mid Cold War
