Can this jet carry any sort of targeting pods? If so it would be an excellent addition to USSR for CAS because USSR only gets its first proper targeting pod jet in top tier (aka Su-30SM and SM2 as of now). NATO and almost every other nation gets TGPs in Rank 7 while USSR has to wait till top tier.

Only the SOLT-130K pod on the Yak-130M, more like the SOLT-25 on the Su-25SM3 than a traditional targeting pod
Only rhe modernization variant of the Yak-130 (Yak-130M) can be equipped with a targetting pod, as @somebody_Else mentioned correctly, is the SOLT-130K model, this modernization also includes a BRLS-130R AESA radar that can search up to 100 km.

I still hope for a new Trainer-centered update so that this YAK and my beloved Italian M-346 can be added, kind of like Alpha Strike.

Yes it does, since it has some similarty with the Su-25SM3’s SOLT-25, should be the same except it’s a external component:
The SOLT-25 provides 16× zoom and features a laser range finder and target designator, thermal imager, TV channels, and the ability to track moving targets in all weather up to 8 km away.

The targeting pod is called SOLT-130K, SOLT-25 is an internal designator made specifically for Su-25SM3.
