This plane needs maneuver mode. It pulls so much AoA in full real controls, but the instructor only allows you to pull like 30 degrees, while without, it will happily pull over 60. I even managed to get it to do a cobra for a very short amount of time (like 1-2 seconds)

Perhaps the worst vehicle ever added to Warthunder br wise.
US teams full of XF5U are getting steamrolled. It will go down in br for sure but this could have been avoided from the get go. I don’t know how Gaijin arrived at the conclusion that this was 5.3 material…
I will stop using it until it drops or gets buffed.
It honestly should have gotten its planned proposed armament of 4 x 20mm cannons instead of just 6 x .50 cals, as well as probably the missing engine HP buff for it to be at 5.3 BR.
Right now, it’s just a pure meme vehicle.
