XCB-01 - BMP-1 Vietnamese's brother.

There is also one in the Soviet tt btw

Soviets already have a lot of vehicles. Also the one in Sov tree is premium

+1 But i don’t think this is a vehicles for Russian or China.

  • China has a lot more interesting stuff then this and the relationship between them is not “warm” like Cambodia/Thailand so might trigger parts of player base.

  • Russia in other hand, too many vehicles.

  • For Japan, sure, it’s can be an option since Gaijin said more SA vehicles will came to Japan.

  • Another option is Israel as a niche option.

Either for Japan or USSR

Historically Vietnam and China has never really like each other so adding a Vietnamese tank there isn’t really good, the Phòng Không T-34 is an exception i guess since it used NORINCO type 65 and a Soviet T-34 chassis hench why they added it to both of the tech tree.
Yes ik that Soviets alr have a bunch of vehicles, that why i also added an option for an ASEAN subtree in JP

Well its just me who wants to play this vehicle. I play Chinese tree but not japanese, so I wont be abot to play it if it is in JP tree

Theres already a Vietnamese vehicle in China, it should go there.

That vehicle is also made out of Chinese produced weapons and chassis.

Vietnam sub tree samsung hyundai kia perfect

Yes but mainly because the Phong Kong T-34 is a modification done by the Chinese under the behalf of North Vietnam

I understand, but as I said I just wanna play this vehicle without grinding through the JP tree

NOT TRUE.
Fact:
PHONG KHONG T-34 was a derivatives of the T-34 tank. And it might come from Russia and Chinese didn’t touch it.
Source: Type 63/65 SPAAG (1971) (tanks-encyclopedia.com)
P/s: Funny enough I will wait for gaijin to add the T-34-85 with the S-60 57mm. :D

Would make a great squadron vehicle for China. i don’t think it fits in TT due to niche origin and TT saturation. Alternatively event vehicle or BP is 2nd best option.

The Phong Khong T-34 uses twin Type 65 autocannons, Chinese license-built versions of the Soviet 61-K 37mm AA gun. If this vehicle was Russian, it would’ve used the original 61-K guns instead. This means that it has to be either of Chinese or Vietnamese manufacture, not Russian.

It used Soviet supplied T-34-85 hull and Chinese 37mm Type 65 and was put together by NVA. It just a vehicle that they built with whatever they have on hand at the time (also no type 58 were ever given to the NVA).

Note the variant with Soviet 57mm and Su-76m chassis with single barrel 37mm 61-K

This is the explanation that I personally believe, however some sources suggest that the Chinese built and operated the Type 63/65 SPAA, selling some to Vietnam in the process. The dubious construction of this vehicle certainly has me leaning more towards Vietnamese construction though.

I don’t think it makes much sense to add a modern Vietnamese IFV to China considering they are the most likely opponent of said vehicle- the idea that it should be moved there just because of a prior vehicle of dubious origin doesn’t really make much sense. Japan both has greater need of the vehicle, lacking a BMP-1 equivalent, as well as making more geopolitical sense.

Unrelated to the placement of the vehicle, are we certain PG-15V is the best shell available? Considering the existence of superior tandem-charged 73mm projectiles for the SPG-9 (TATR-9VMZ, PG-15VNT), I am somewhat surprised Vietnam would not have a superior shell available for their newest IFV.
