So, I am thinking about getting a gaming PC so I can switch from console to PC. I understand that a transfer is not possible at the moment and I will need to use my Xbox account until then. My question is, can I use custom sound mods on PC with an Xbox account? It is the main reason I was wanting to switch along with better graphics and performance. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I don’t think you can I use Xbox on my pc but if you sign in to the normal gajin launcher threw Xbox you can.
I mean if you’re on a PC you would have access to the files; where you can watch many YouTube video’s showing how to add sound mods the right way and that should work fine.

I just wasn’t sure if having an Xbox account would come with restrictions.
Might depend on if they are using the Game pass login option through the Microsoft store (War Thunder Comes to Game Pass — And With Gifts!) or if they are using the standalone Gaijin Launcher. I’m not sure how the Microsoft store handles the files.
Standalone launcher should be able to use sound mods no matter what type of account you log in with.
