the point still stands, its a game and they put cold war against ww2 i dont know why your trying to change the topic tho
Im not changing the topic im attacking your original assumption that WW2 tanks never saw ATGMs or APDSFS and thy should be balanced over that.
Ok, so sit still and don’t repair the track until the mission is over then! Everything for realism, no?
Yes, its a game and vehicles br are balanced/changed by player statistics and partly capabilities, not by year/era or such.
the m56 is a vietnam war vehical. whats your point not all of them are overpowered, plus cold war would include shermans like the 105
yet not fully removed it comes out once every year and did it ever actually see combat if so i would like to see photos of it from what i know it never did as it still had the box turret (no gun) after the russians found it and shot it as the turret was being made and transported
how dose supply lines and bombings have anything to do with cold war fighting ww2 then?
These are factors that do in fact affect IRL effectivness of a vehicle, but cannot or should be simulated in a game.
but thats irl and im talking about a game where its tank on tank combat with air included also adding to the fact that after ww2 there hasnt been as much tank on tank combat
no you are not.
fair not all are overpowered im just talking about things that generally are unbalanced and make 0 sense it would be more fair making the game have a more balance system in the sense of when you get to these end of ww2 veichles that its less of a rank up so instead of it being 7.3 to 8.3 its more of a 2 rank difference as 7.3 to 8.0 as the max that 7.3 can see it may still be unbalanced but less annoying to the player base who all have the same issues
so when did ww2 heavy tanks fight these cold war era atgms and apfsds? to my knowlage after ww2 was over they chucked all the ww2 tanks into hangers, melted them down for newer production or just left them as they were outdated and not as useful as newer things they were making
Buddy, you jump from “why are you talking IRL im talking about ingame” to “it didnt work like that in real life”, like god, pick a position.
This isn’t HLL
Bro, I got what you mean, some sense of historic.
I would like to have some sense of feeling for Cold War actions when I play Cold War tanks
I don’t mind seeing so ww2 vehicles, because many ww2 vehicles do serveies until post-war,
but sometimes, I just saw some modern SPA
They should have made WW2, WW2-Cold War, Cold War, Cold War-Modern and Modern,
that is hard to matching I guess
But it should be an era filter
Not sure that’s the best example… that light tank was never designed to fight MBTs of it’s era. It’s like asking an M5A1 to take on a Tiger H1.
You are right for the most part though, but I really do hate how there are modern light and medium vehicles with better optics and Heat/HeatFS that can take out a Tiger 2 from the front. WT does not do the heavies justice by pitting them against cold-war tanks.
No…
It would mean the best WW2 tanks would always curb stomp as they wouldnt face their counters and be in a perpetual downtier and the weakest cold war tanks would be DOA because they would only ever see uptiers.
Besides, where do place that cut-off? What year? 1945? 1950? etc etc
Like technically the Centurion is not a WW2 tank, first seeing combat in the Korean War and taking part in a dozen Cold war battles. Is it a cold war tank? despite being a lower BR than the Tiger II? etc etc
Besides BR arent decided by year, they are decided by performance.
No, let me bully cold war tank with my tiger II
