WW1 MkIV and MkV Event vs Reward stats

The event variants of the German Mk.IV and British Mk.V are much faster than the Reward variants. The slow speed in the reward versions makes them extremely time consuming to even get the tanks to the fight on many of the maps. I’ve had game where I non-spot drove straight for the objective and the match ended before I encountered a single enemy.



are these bugged stock stat card? (sometimes happens to me)

Also, lots of stats changes were done to the event vehicles, which I assume is for balancing and Im not sure if theyre historical or not.

Event version got buffed because they were so bad

It’s because in order to make the event fun, the event had the engine characteristics of arcade

Otherwise no one would play the event, it’s just arcade without the aimbot

The event should have had an arcade mode to begin with, that way Gaijin doesnt have to adjust so much data.

No, event is fine as it is in its current state. Next you’re gonna suggest to add napalm on the hp12 so you can base bomb I guarantee it

Arcade speeds are still much slower than the Event characteristics. German MkIV on arcade max speed is 6.8kph

More fun with the realistic mechanics, no spotting and no drop indicator

better just go full on arcade than this frankenstein stat tweaking

People begged for ww1 vehicles for years despite ignoring everyone telling them what a bad idea that would be. now complain about how awful they are. lol

Wish Gaijin would give the Garford its correct traverse limits… of +145ish degrees on both sides or until the barrel guard touches the hull sides.

which if gaijin had spent more than bare minimum on this event they could do a 5 second google search like I did or simply just look at the overall shape of the entire vehicle’s rear armor profile and figure it out…

they could still “blind” fire over the right side of the vehicle or simply look through the cannon shroud opening around the cannon to sight the target…

All the other ones area great. The MkV is a tad faster so I’m not even mad about that all that much. The Mk4, even in Arcade, is so slow that you can’t even enter the battle before it ends. Maybe the Mk4 should spawn further up? Something so it has enough time to see some combat XD

Ngl, I don’t know how you stand the speed
Of the mk V any more than you do the mk IV, I haven’t gotten it spaded yet, but I maxed my speed in my most recent battle at somewhere between 3-5 kph, I’m pretty sure I could get into battle faster while driving the archer forwards (backwards)

It also shows what the matchmaking queues to battles with historically accurate vehicle setups would look like. Or, I should rather say looked like when such battles were in WT as events to celebrate the V-E Day…
One side has better vehicles => MM queue’s going like 200:4…
