Nothing wrong with the Z imo
I highly doubt the auction house is legal, having to pay money in order to participate and not being refunded is wild.
The age rating restrict War Thunder to be a more realistic game in details or is just developer’s lazyness to create something realistic.
there is real money gambling and auctions in this game so it should be 18+ by default. If they want it to be lower then they need to have more moral business ideas
Exnic:
Auctions aren’t gambling in any country that has literacy.
Gambling is an atrocious thing.
Auctions are a practice of highest bidder gets item. There’s no gambling involved.
This game should be rated 21 and over. PERIOD.
The way this game operates like a casino should make gajin, by law, mark it as 21 and up. They won’t cause it’s easier to manipulate children into spending hundreds of dollars on what basically is a slightly better chance on the next hand, I mean match
With gambling mechanics it should be +18.
Pretty sad to think about that there are so many games around who successfully use gambling mechanics and aren’t +18.
If you use such shady practices, then the your customer base should be limited to people 18 and above.
Looking at you shmokemon.
I mean even I spent more money on some new popular trading card game for mobile than I ever wanted.
How could younger people resist such temptation 😫
But I also did that with actual trading card games when I was young 😄
Luckily you only get junk in WT, most of the time so, so it’s pretty easy to stay away from these mechanics for me.
Might as well just play the Lotterie instead of trying to get an IS-7.
Voted no, not because of gambling, but because of the chats. Legal kids gambling exists, it’s called and arcade.
I’d also like to see Enlisted level of ‘destruction’ and kills.
Unlike @AlvisWisla, were it’s always a gamble whether what he says is true or makes no sense.
😄
Pls don’t flag my post 😂
The loot boxes and now, auction house, should 100% make the game an 18+ experience. Its a “get around” clause to say “oh but you convert your real money into fake money to use” that should have been closed by governments over a decade ago.
done lol, it got accepted as a suggestion yesterday, and I had a solution to the age rating issue
Unless you have a sealed bid auction of course, which are arguably more akin to gambling then people would like to suggest as you are gambling if your bid is high enough or well above the rest.
There is also the other issue that you bid via gaijin coin, meaning you need to put your money in to be able to bid, this is a gamble in and of itself because you are gambling that you bought enough coin to buy it in the first place as there is no refund system.
When you think on it as “no country does it that way” do remember that the gambling lobby are putting millions if not billions across regions to keep it this way, very few countries actively fight gambling/currently not considered gambling lobbies effectively.
its also not actually part of the game, its connected but not actually a part of it
Sounds to me like the old “you cant sell this item directly, its legal to own, so you make it a comes free with x item”.
what?
A common trope/loophole companies used to use was that their product which people are upset over isnt actually being sold, but given away for free when people bought something else.
In fact iirc some vape companies tried to use this ploy in the UK/other places in recent years to get their products to children, you couldnt sell them it, but you could give it to them for free if they subscribed to someone on social media for example. Was technically legal.
yeah but how does that relate to what I said though? like seriously I’m confused
Companies like to try to use the loophole of “technically not part of the product” to get away with iffy stuff a lot, and shouldnt be given any energy.
