"Wrath of Jupiter" Challenge with a wording problem

I have nearly completed the “Wrath of Jupiter” challenge. It is very likely to have a wording problem.

It states “Destroy 3 player vehicles without losing your own”. With these tasks, the counter increases for every sub streak you make. If you get to 8 kills, you should advance 6.

But in practice, the task seems to be an implementation of “Shadow Strike”:
Reward for destroying an enemy vehicle without getting yourself hit X times in a row.

Not as easy!

It should be “Destroy 3 player vehicles without losing your own”. My experience was that it’s enough to destroy 3 planes without been shot down, not hit. I ended some battles with some hits but managed to shoot down 3 planes and got the reward.

The game awards you “Professional” and “Shadow Strike” awards. I always got the number of Shadow Strike awards. So whatever triggers Shadow Strike is the metric they use.

No head-on, go camping instead.

Every mission I had disproves that theory. I had 8:0 kills but only +4 count instead of +6.
I had 6:0 kills and only got +2 and so on.

I suspect that you ignore substreaks:
6 kills means 4 streaks:
123 234 345 456. The game counts and rewards them, if they meet the criteria.

I’m confused. I understood that the reward substantially required to play a mission shooting down at least 3 enemies without losing yours and you will advance for 1 counter. That’s why I substantially stopped to play after 3 shooting down. I will try to shoot down more than 3 in order to advance more per mission. Thanks.
