it’s not the length, just the tech tree planes themselves dont look that good to me aside from some parts of the finnish tt, the early ja37’s and the gripens

Did you grind the tree using a premium? Because I will agree the starting off planes are rough. At least the J22 have the 13.2mm which are great. The finnish line is solid. The most funy I had was with the B18 and T18 bombers and the J21s. Early jets kinda suck but then you get to the J35 and J37 and you have fun again.
I have stopped grinding the tree a while ago since I just don’t fancy playing high tier jets and when I do it’s almost exclusively mirages.

I did get the Pyorremirsky but only after passing it so no effective research done by that plane.
I did use the 35xs yea, then went back to fly some of the tech tree vehicles
See there is the issue. Perfectly fine to do it this way but unless you actually grinded it the old fashioned way you would not know. I have even spaded most of the vehicles until rank V for sweden. The only ones I have not are the new mosquitos and the A29 (almost there) and J34 (dogshit plane)
So I will say it’s a perfectly alright tree and the only teeth pulling is the early jets. The J29 is fine but not anything special and the vampires are still overtiered.

In a way it will help…you’d get the 5% research bonus for reaching the last vehicle in a tree so yes in a way it will help….plus you can think about the friends you would make along the way.
i meant more that it helps ease the nation fatigue and playing other vehicles teaches you how to kill them easier

china has some amazing aircraft at all teirs pretty much
Same for planes, mostly US and USSR designed/derived iconic aircraft continuing high up into the tree (domestic air starts somewhat later up in the tree compared to ground).
High tier has notably unique aircraft in terms of capabilities and play style, with a long, long list of domestic aircraft that can be added. Entire families of aircraft we haven’t seen yet; there’s a lot of potential.
If u wanna grind out Sweden, I’d suggest going for it. The planes are…not bad…J21s at rank IV-V are a boatload of fun, B-239 is a monstrosity, J22 have very good 13.2mm guns. Almost every plane in the first half is just slow though. It’s slow biplanes, slow monoplanes, slow jets, slow strikers, and for some crazy reason, really fast bombers

Nice! The J21 has pretty bad flight performance - it’s basically the polar opposite of the Bf109G.
it’s slow, poorly climbing, has zero energy retention, but has good maneuvering. It needs to wipe out the enemy aircraft in one or two bursts
