Yak-38 in the 80s must have R-60M because get into the all aspect time line for that missile version. Weapon should be respected by developers and if they change BR due that missed weapon versión, that is not my business what BR Gaijin set after the missiles is added. That missile is missed right now due an unknown reason. And that is happening only to Russian fighters. MiG-29A doesn’t have his original missile R-73, Yak-141 the same plus R-77 should be added too because that was their original missiles and that’s it. Should be in the payload option and in your face blowing up your aircraft

And instead it gets R-27ERs that it never used. It was determined waaaay back in Dec 2022 that R-73s were too strong but R-60M and R-27R wasnt good enough, so it got R-27ERs instead (which imo, are waaaaay more cancerous)
There are plenty of on-going petitions to get it swapped from R-60M and R-27ER to R-73 and R-27R, but compression is a major issue at that BR.
This would increase its BR to at least 13.0
Loadouts have always been a balancing decision and Gaijin likely doesnt want it at a higher BR, and giving it its full strength missile fit, is usually not in the best interest of the aircraft. For example giving Jaguar GR1A its missing 9Ls would imo harm it waaaaay more than lowering its BR instead.
Though Gaijin have already stated that R-73s will be coming to the Yak-141 “Soon™”.

Yep… But its also not like the Mig-29s didnt get something in “compensation” and their rational was half acceptable (Though I think I would have preferred dealing R-73s with 9L “placeholder” seekers in 2023 than R-27ERs)

I think that BR though is just too compressed and too messy to really balance it well with either R-60M & R-27ER or R-73 & R-27R and what BR do you place it at with R-73? Does the 2x German Mig-29s basically become the same aircraft? I think these are valid questions.
As I told you before is not my business to choose what BR Gaijin will set after set real life payload weapon. If you are starting whining and asking for bad BR. I personally don’t mind about BR but about simulation and realistic payload. R-60M it’s part of the of Yak-38M weapons and Gaijin again and again remove to another Russian fighter his weapons

I think 12.7 with R-73s for the 9.12/13 would be fine considering everything else at the same BR.
Leave the German mig-29 at 13.0 with current armament

It’s pretty unplayable as it currently is. You often see uptiers and the R-60 is just worthless. I’d prefer it go up a point or 2 in the Br chain and get the R-60M
Ultimately, yes that is what we need. But…it’s just so damn slow to happen.
Giving the Yak-38 R-60Ms would make it legitimately unplayable because it would be 10.0 at least, while not having flares, while having one of the worst airframes in the entire game.

If Mirage F1C-200 with Matra R550 Magic 2 such has IRCCM that create a super OP WITH MORE than10 AA kills per match its not a BR problem for you all why you bother yourself with Yak-38M real life missiles and higher BR?

No, and I think it’s one of the more balanced planes at 12.0. Regardless, it still has flares, acceptable flight performance, and ok avionics, none of which are present on the Yak-38.
Do you want to play a flareless Yak-38 at 10.0? You are food to missiles because you can’t turn well, and if you do you’ll be caught by anything on your tail, and you are food to supersonics because every single one has better flight performance.
This unfair situation has been created by Gaijin downgrading Russian aircraft by request of the players those are in the opposition team. Only Gaijin can stop this situation. Meanwhile we should hold and see the stupid request for hard BR for Russians and nice and easy BR for everything is not Russian. Gaijin is a Russian developer and they do that so this is a waste of time…
Tell what original weapons should be removed due it’s too difficult for you to face it in game… let me guess, you don’t drive the Mig-29A, but you want to shoot down it easily?
