I agree but it feels like they are trying to make GRB and sim into Arcade, like a one size fits all.
Only takes a tiny move to ruin somebodies favourite BR and line up.
An alternative dimension where the Chief never broke down, a true fantasy world for sure : ) Sometimes this game really does push the boundaries of imagination.
In past I would outright say ZT3A2 but since missile handling buff it is actually playable, though still situational, damn i sometimes even find it to be kinda fun.
But to the point. As someone who really likes 8.3 Warrior and even talismaned it I really despise Desert Warrior. It may not look so bad just looking at stats but playing it just extremely reminds me of pre-buff ZT3A2 in how bad it is at its BR, forget taking it to 12.0. In comparison to OG Warrior only things it has better are ATGMs (though I am not particulary fond of TOWs), rate of fire (which is still kinda mid) and the fact that main gun is fully stabilised, aside from this it is worse then original in every aspect.
Not sure it is worst vehicle in game but it most propably is worst IFV.
I honesly wish we would get Warrior CSP or Stormer 30 instead of D. Warrior (D stand for depression, which I get every time I play it).
Now that I’ve gone and spaded the MNF Paris, I think that is the absolute worst ship in the entire french tree.
Jeanne d’Arc is just a very mediocre ship with no armor, Paris is a horrid BB with no gunpower, no speed and poor armor. It exemplifies what I said about Jeanne, she’s too old to fight, and too slow to run. Battleship guns with no penetration, that even heavy cruisers and well armored light cruisers can negate rounds that hit their belt. Battlecruisers and above? Don’t even bother shooting them. Their armor can ignore your ammo from almost any range and all angles. Slow speed doesn’t help either. But the kicker is the armor. It’s worse than many battlecruisers half the time. It’ll get shredded by US 6" AP while angled. Painfully horrible grind. The only redeeming factor is the number of guns, I guess. They reload about as fast as everyone else’s. Except everyone else (including the Pre-dreadnoughts in the Japanese tree) has at least 500mm of point blank penetration. Or significantly faster reloads. 40mm of penetration or +1 RPM might seem tiny, but it’s actually a gigantic difference when you add the fact that all the others have way better armor or speed. I’m glad to have rid myself of this ship.
Hopefully the model 1920 ammo for the 340mm guns on Lorraine is worth the effort. At least it might put holes in broadside battlecruisers sometimes. And be reliable at putting holes through heavy and light cruisers at angles. The model 1912 ammo is basically identical to 305mm AP from the Paris.
Naval BR decompression please, gaijin. It’s desperately needed. MNF Paris, Lorraine, Bretagne and Courbet have no chance against an Alaska, not even going to mention the monster sitting atop the German tree.
I love the ZT3A2. Now with ammo box it’s even better. It’s a wish.com AFT09, but you get better thermals. You can nuke everything (Apart from a few tanks with APS), and it goes with the Falcon and ZA-35 for an uptier proof line-up. I think the Warrior is much worse in comparison. Not sure if they buffed the Ratel chasis, but the ZT3A2 just feels and plays better than when it was first released.
And you can shut down enemy teams no matter if it’s an uptier or whatever.
For me, it’s just boring vehicles that are the worst. Like M60 and M48 without any quirks or interesting features. I don’t care about what is ‘meta’, I care about what is fun to use. For example, I play a lot of Britain 8.3, but I still haven’t spaded the Vickers Mk.3. The Mk.3 is a actually a really solid good tank, but I ain’t playing that line-up for just a basic tank, I’ll take brrrrttt bois, ATGM bois, or any other quirk over it.
Yeah i try to get to simular positions generally, but not every map really has good positions for ZT3 manly because launcher depression is not that great, that is why depending on map I alter between ZT3 and Striker. It is true that Since missile buff and ammo boxes addition it is fairly good vehicle, though still I would love to have bit more protection (at least against machine guns) and mobility.
One of the M48/M60 variants like the Hydra might change your mind, with the right position you can sit behind the cover and launch rockets at the enemy without exposing your vehicle hitbox, and it is hydra 70 so it’s very potent and you have 76 pcs of them.
Yeah basic tanks can be sometimes kinda boring but quirky vehicles such as M60A2, M60 CEV (idk exact name so thats why i wrote it like this), Cent AVRE, Churchill AVRE etc.
They may not be as effective as normal tank but various meme vehicles and specialised version of normal tanks usualy are more fun.
(Though I still can apriciante normal tank vith good gun and optics such as Olifant Mk.2, underated gem of 9.3 british lineup IMO)
Yeah, maybe I could have written that better. I mean, I’m not a fan of most M48 and M60s that don’t have quirks or interesting features. I do enjoy tanks like the CM-11, and I’m sure I’d enjoy the Hydra if I tried it.
You’re speakin’ my language. Do love the AVRE. Reminds me that I need to take it out for a spin more often. I also have a soft spot for Britain 6.3 with the FV4005/M109A1 combo + 10.7, of course.
That’s fine. I don’t expect a tank or vehicle to be fit for every map. Hence why I have a line-up. Falcon is my close quarters tank. ZA-35 my flanker. Warrior the scout with an annoying doof cannon. I should probably drop an air unit and put Fox in there as well. It plays just fine at 8.3.
Man, i gotta say bombers, like i was recently grinding the lancaster 12000lb bomb and i just put on a vid and waited till i got to the base. Only B-57s and IL-28s are fun bombers (probably). Also low tier france and Mysteres/MD.450s
Coastal boats in general, around the 3.0-3.3 BR. Good luck if you find yourself in a floating shoe like the Tucumcari against a destroyer. BMO is an armored gun boat? More like armored coffin with those 10mm of steel that are only good enough to stop a 7.7mm bullet, too bad there aren’t many you find at that BR.
Its survivability sucks so much due to the commander binocular has the same height as the gunner sight, and you have two turret crews sitting next to each other in jerkoff distance, a gust of wind or someone sneezing in the direction of the turret usually kills both of them then the vehicle has three crews which means death lol I would have a better time using BMP-3 at 10.0 than this junk. And don’t forget the ATGM pod takes time to deploy when you come to a complete stop.
Have you seen the penetration for the rockets on the BM-8-24. Give you a hint it’s 8mm’s. Correcting myself 9mm. 34 is still plenty to kill something, it is just not enjoyable.
