I’m awaiting this feature egaerly. The current braked steering system massively impacts momentum negatively when turning even slightly, on some vehicles more than on others. Having tanks be able to actually keep their momentum would mean slower accelerating vehicles get a big boost in mobility. As many have pointed out, a settings toggle or a keybind toggle could be useful, as many seem not to appreciate this proposed addition. Myself, I despise the current system and await live server testing for regenerative steering as soon as possible.
