Work-In-Progress: CA-27

Coming to Attack aircraft line or USN/USMC fighter aircraft line ?

I wouldn’t exactly call the things added within the last year slop for Australia. Everything added has been heavily requested for years (Like the Vark, like the Hornets, like the Abrams) and the vast majority of AUS content will be regarded as “slop”. AS1 for example, Leopard 1A3 with an LRF, TVD and L52A1, if that comes its “slop”, the upcoming CA-27 Mk.32 is regarded as “slop” and “just another Sabre” when this brings new things to the table, notable 2x 30mm ADEN and a Hunter engine crammed in.

No matter what content Gaijin adds these days, people will be unhappy and call nearly everything copy as paste, like how the upcoming Scimitar and Sabre are being treated (They are as copy and paste as the M3A3 Bradley).

Bugs are part of the game, after all. There are bugs in game even now, after so many hotfixes but i’m happy that they are, at least from what I see, to resolve them asap.

Having so many bugs on release shows that their quality control isn’t the best.

Doesn’t suit your claim.

If this is for vehicles people will call C&P even if they aren’t, then the AMX-13-105 Retrofit will 100% need one of these. All it has from the AMX-13-105 is the rear hull, everything else is new.

That or push the F8U to rank 7 with the F-8E (foldered surely) to make room for them
Honestly the best solution long term would be more lines because we’re gonna run out of room eventually and several nations have potential for way more than 5 lines

Replacing FFAR by SURA’s ? :D

While I would like more unique vehicles like the TSR.2, I’m ok with this because while it is a bit copy paste, having a different engine and guns makes it unique enough to me.

It’s also a completely new model due to how they had to redesign the Sabre airframe to fit in the Avon engine

It’s the first cool thing added for Australia recently, the Aardvark, Hornets and Abrams where all just copy paste

I think it’s similar to the British Phantoms, which used Rolls Royce Spey engines, and had Skyflash DF missiles

Thank you, my mistake!

Easy mistake to make honestly, there’s no official way to check what’s a subtree and what isn’t. Only announcements, and some are pretty hidden like forum replies.

There’s only a player made list, but it’s hard to find unless you’re actively looking for it because it’s not official.

Thats not a Kangaroo…

This is a Kangaroo!

Jokes on them lol…

The thing is with the CA-27 is that there are very little in the way of similarities with the F-86…

So, the model needs to be built from scratch… pretty much entirely new air frame compared to the F-86, not to mention control surfaces, engines, guns etc… as already explained

The shot is a Work in progress as its been explained

What you see is a render from the 3D program of the model in between being worked on, so it will look very simple and also because there are no textures made for it yet or they just have not added the textures for the demonstration

LOL no… the air frame does NOT remain largely the same whatsoever… about 60% of the fuselage has been altered alone… and this is a entirely new 3D model because it has very few similarities with the F-86…

Have you even seen the blueprints side by side ?

First thing I will probably do with this in a test flight is confirm it can break the sound barrier in a shallow dive. The CAC Sabre was capable of doing it, and became RAAF’s first supersonic aircraft.

The USAF F-86H Sabre Hog retain 20mm cannon (except F-86H-1)

Just Indonesian and Malaysian coming to japan tech tree

H was passed to devs a long time ago but I don’t know if we will ever see it
And if we do I hope it’s the F-86H-10

The FJ-2 and FJ-3M should be in the USN/USMC fighter aircraft line, imo.
