Yes, there are loads of side grades and prototypes the USSR can get, not to mention the potential for the other republics like Belarus or Ukraine, no shortage what so ever.

Yes, of corse. No one real photo. And mass of 41,2 which less than bvm, but have more protection (and more weight in logic). So i see it awful (mistake with characteristics or its don’t exist)
Kingtiez didnt just mess them places, but also doesnt know that both of these stayed on proposal&model state. The image on Object 490 (the angled one) is just a model.

My mistake, that clears that up. I’ve always thought those two had at least a prototype built, I must’ve got its information mixed up with another vehicle.

Just T-62M-1 we have in game with same ammo choice (I doubt 3BM36 is needed), laser rangefinder is scope in built, theres thermal sight as well. 9.3

BTR-70 Chasee with new turret, supposedly autoloaded 85MM with firerate of 20-25 rounds per minute. APDS (3BM31) was an option for this cannon but while I could add its look I couldnt find specs but its estimated to be not that good.
No thermals as this is before USSR made any of its thermals (1975). IDK the BR.
Also just a little question, why again this thread exists? Is it just a list for possible additions? Because USSR doesnt really lack things that could be added, I would be more concerned for other nations lol.

but its reinforcing my opinion that top tier Russian MBTs have run out.
if we count the 2023 T-90M package as an upgrade at all, there is only the T-14 Armata left.
The Burlak is also an improvement on the current tanks. I’m looking forward to it in the upcoming patches.
I can’t say that france, germany, japan, israel, britain have very many better tanks.
Leopard 130-140mm? Seems to me it has less armor and maybe a bad thermal imager.
Abrams 140mm - same problems.
Plus the ussr has the object 195 with 152mm cannon.
i think the burlak will go after the T-80BVM if im not mistaken, so yes, it could be stated as a top tier, ill adjust that, but besides that… germany has a butt load of leopards of different modifications ready to come.
and this is excluding all the other ‘nearly top tier’ vehicles.
for russia and maybe usa even, these options are running thin just like germany airforces lol
