Wishlist for Germany (WIP)

I couldn’t find anything on it but I would guess the Panther D as it was the first one?

i believe this might be either a confusion or something im not familiarized with yet since at that date the Panther D just got out the production lines

This is what the Italian soldiers told a journalist in the late 2000’s:
“ During their stay they were showed a Tiger that received countless hits but none the less it brought its crew back home safely, they were showed a captured Soviet T-34 and had the chance of testing the Panther (called Pantera by them), in which the Italian crew has found the only fault to be that the 75mm gun was too long, forcing the crew to keep the gun at its maximum elevation while driving off-road on particularly rough terrain to avoid damaging the tank.

They had the chance of trying the Panther, because the Stato Maggiore del Regio Esercito decided that it would be co-produced in Italy in the near future and that it would have being the vehicle of the future Italian armoured forces.”

Those group of soldiers were there mainly to train on the Tiger H1

hmm weird its gonna be hard specially taking in account the date of the info

I’m not informed enough, but the Italian army was actually discussing the possibility of buying a batch of the Panther and than produce them in house just before the armistice(July 1943).
I guess that if Germany had enough Panther to sell some to Italy, they would have at least one in Paderborn in July 1943?
Idk, what do you think?
Because they don’t specify the exact day of the testing, so it could be anytime between May 1943 and July 1943.

turret looks cool like a mini m48 turret =)

Now lets see sky crew work on it in the sky.

The Schwere Waffenträger Infanterie, first pre production vehicle is expected this year and the final version next year.

As a side note, they are looking into upgrading it later with a hard kill APS, something that the tree currently lacks.

Edit: I can’t believe no one suggested it yet.

i would’ve done that but there is not much info about it reallistically, except the one found already on the boxer and the turret but i dont know about missile capacity, or ammo capacity

This might help:
The BW website Bundeswehr beschafft 123 neue Radpanzer

This is a thread in German but it contains very good information: x.com

Also from RM:

There is no official configuration yet but these are the known fact of the vehicle.
As of now there is very little in English but the Boxer CRV Block 2 is the basis of the sWaTrg Inf

in german its fine, i do understand german fortunately, ty that’s pretty nice ill archive it to make a suggestion later

for what i could read, ill list the features the german Boxer Schwere Waffenträger.

  • Speed 80km/h(Limited, max speed being 100KM/H)
  • LWS
  • 30 mm autocannon
  • 3rd gen thermals(commander and gunner)
  • motion detection cameras
  • Spike LR2 missiles
  • Rosy smoke system(2x8 smoke launchers totaling 16 smoke grenades)
  • IRST tracking device to allow tracking of enemy aircraft/drones
  • Engine MTU-8V-199-TE20 Providing 710 HP at 2300 RPM
  • max speed was sacrificed for higher acceleration

It’s basically the same Vic. Except it carries more ammo and not a dismount team

Yeah it’s hard to get infos on it especially because infos about the CRV block 2 are also quite hard to come by that’s why I’m still working on my suggestion for it

there is an issue and is that the block 2 is not even finished, its missing its armor wich its gonna be different from the standard and its gonna have aswell a hardkill aps, for now hold back the suggestion unless you want an unfinished boxer
