Wishlist for Germany (WIP)

Well, I don’t know what to tell you, and I can’t recommend any websites where you can stay updated on the latest news from this museum, so I’m sorry.

All good, your photos are a contribution in of themselves, so I thank you for that.

Thank you for your high praise of my work, and I may visit the buildings themselves in October, where there is another technique.

Isn’t this a double standard? Germany didn’t get the KF-41, even though they produce it, because they don’t use it. But when they add the Stingray to Thailand, America will get it too—even though the U.S. only produced it and never used it.

Didn’t the US make a version for themselves at one point? Its been a while but i know its different from the Thai version. I mean if this model is the same as the Thai then yeah its a double standard but thats nothing new.

I check rq and yes, the US did have their own variant known as the Stingray AGS, it did not go into service. If that’s the one they add for the US then that’s fine, but knowing gaijin that’ll be a one-off event vehicle and they’ll just add the copy-paste one from Thailand.

Can’t be, it’s not a Russian vehicle so it could never be bias!!!

Idk if this counts as it’s a Polish vehicle but as Poland has no assigned TT (with vehicles in both Germany and Britain) I think it fits.

The vehicle it a East German built Lo-1800A mounted with a 14.5mm ZPU-2 mounted to the bed

Would make a very nice low tier SPAA for Germany

There is also the SPW-152E which is just a copy and paste BTR-152 built and used by East Germany

Apparently the NVA had a prototype of a weapon carrier based on the chassis of the Multicar M25A (I’m assuming an ATGM though a Recoilless rifle and maybe a ZPU-2 would’ve been possible). I found a link on the multicar forum which mentions it and has a linked photo but it won’t let me view it because I’m IP band somehow, will provide link to see if anyone else cans assess it.

It was from very late in the Cold War and was t finished before reunification. Will try to find a photo.

Threw it into Internet Archive and it unfortunately appears to be an unarmed version in NVA service

Y’know, this guy would make a great pfp they could add for reunification day.

Also, I found something a little interesting here

On page 8 it says:

“3 anti-aircraft missile launch devices FASTA 4M, mounted on vehicle LO-2002 with 24 short-range anti-aircraft missiles 9K32M, also known as Strela 2M.”

Of course, We already know of the Lo-1800s mounted with the Fasta-4M system, but I’ve never heard anything about them being on the Lo-2002.

How this would affect the game compared to the Lo-1800

As far as I could find in my short research, the performance between both vehicles would be extremely noticeable as whilst the Lo-1800 make a staggering knock-your-socks-off 70hp and 220nm of torque, the Lo-2002 makes a even more impressive, jaw dropping 75hp and 226nm of torque! Absolutely game chasing!

Anyways I’ll keep digging for more

I present the Condor from FFG!!

It has a 30mm (it can have different automatic cannons) and missiles (spike or Konkurs) in its Turra 30 turret. It gets better armor then the standard Leo1 apparently and a new drivetrain. Also nearly all the bells and whistles you would want. It has a bunch of data in the article and more information should be available once it’s presented at the expo.
