The first picture is a 2A8 which are ordered and the second is a 2A7A1 that is in Bundeswehr service already.
Kinda the main thing missing on the demonstrator is the additional roof armor that is similar to the HU already in game. In general the lack of a RWS will be a huge advantage on that version since it’s more difficult to hit the thing with HE behind cover.

We need faster leopard reload
I don’t think we “Need” a 5 second reload on the arguably best tank in the game.
And we won’t get it because reload is a balancing decision, and leopard is already the best tank/family of tanks in the game.
Instead of faster reloading, I’d prefer them to fix the Leopard 2’s second-stage reload once and for all. 24 seconds is an exaggerated time. The T-10’s 122 mm cannon reloads faster.
Although at this point, it’s more likely they’ll introduce Leopard 2 prototypes with an unmanned turret and autoloader than fix that reload speed.
On my wishlist is all german top tier players having the 2a7v, it can carry even the worst player.
I tanked 4 out of the last 10 KH-38 launched at me in the 2a7v.
Maybe give another 2a7v armor equivalent, like the TVM.
The problem just is the stuff around it, i stopped playing top tier after they absolutely trashed the ROLAND 8x8.

40mm Bofoes
Seeing the Bofors and Swiss try not to mount a 40mm on a wheeled chassis would be more impressive. Im actually curious how many of these Swedish/Swiss vehicles were trialed in Karlskoga. Considering of the 2 Shark chassis’ the swiss made the Trinity was trialed there, guess its easier to have the Vehicles at Karlskoga then to have your technicians be over in Switzerland.

I think the thing would be pretty funny in Air RB or Sim especially if they are going to add a feature that allows the enemy team to get radar directions where you are.
Would be interesting but since the SLS BvS10 was never used and never offered its more likely than they will add the Eagle 6x6 SLS for Germany until they have the Boxer one.
Never offered? Wasn’t it literally sent to Sweden to undergo testing for their military, they even put their own radar on it, to my knowledge they are still evaluating it but i could be wrong, i haven’t kept up to date with Swedish SPAA nearly as much as Danske and Norge.
Goodness, here we go again with Sweden and getting “tested” vehicles.
I decided to check to make sure, in 2019 the Eldenhet 98 entered service with the Swedish military but i couldn’t see if it was the Giraffe X1 (model equipped with a radar). So the vehicle is in service with them. Apologies i should have looked it up prior.
They began trial in 2016 and actual firing around 2017-2018 with it entering service in 2019.

We are talking about Germany though. The only SLS they got offered was the Eagle 6x6 one or a new configuration on the Boxer. The Boxer won. Yes you can probably stretch that out since there is a different configuration with a different radar but it’s basically just a promo vehicle.
I mean to be fair, i wouldn’t be suprised if gaijin added the boxer model in order to have some variety but i wouldn’t be mad if the Eldenhet 98 went to Germany also. Also Shini stated the Eagle was only a mockup, i thought it was completed but im not as well informed on that vehicle, it would be cool to see it regardless imo, im a huge fan of unique SPAA because there are so many factors that go into what a nation wants from budget to terrain and so fourth.
(Skyranger will be insanely cool, more so when other nations skyranger are complete too)
