What I surmise:
The F15E will still be miles ahead of this aircraft (some things: if it does not get extra missiles, FM rework, BOL PODS, C5 being actually fixed.)

I’m afraid they won’t add anything to the US’s top-tier aviation anytime soon. The GE F-15C supposedly fulfills the US’s need for a modern aircraft. You asked for a modern aircraft for the US, and here it is.
That’s the whole problem with this plane. It would have been better if they hadn’t added it at all and we’d waited for the Super Hornet and the F-15EX.
No matter how underwhelming the F-15C GE is now, it will always be a better addition than the Super Hornet.
The Super Hornet will just be free RP at 14.3.
The only good thing about it is 6 AARGM-ER and the AIM-174B
Honestly I would take the Super Hornet over it right now. Because the F-15C GE will probably be in a very awkward spot once the F-15EX is added, similarly to the F-15E and F-15C. I am not too keen on grinding it and losing my sanity stock grinding it as well, just for it to be all pointless because they’ll add the same plane later that is just better at the same or similar BR.
Gaijin loves doing that too much, I hate it. Case in point also the Finnish F-18C and F/A-18C MLU.

i don’t get why they don’t just buff the 120c-5 given how much it is underperforming. like at least make it as maneuverable as the A/B
because that would mean admitting that the amraam fin AOA nerf was artificial, without any sources, which they will never do (also would open it up for a bug report increasing 120A fin AOA to whatever they set 120C to)

IK right honestly the c-5 would be better than the A/B if it could actually hit like 30-35G instead of 20-25G even if they buffed the A/B hit hit that mark faster. but also why does the AAM-4 and PL-12 still have the old AMRAAM AOA values lol, even though at least the AAM-4 is a direct derivative of the AMRAAM and the PL-12 is a modified copy.
Super Hornet is only good addition if it comes with electronic warefare like jammer or modern munition to make it stand out. If its just gona be another aim120a/b carrier then its another DOA

I’m pretty happy with the results of the community on this one, BOL got accepted, MRML got accepted and is being passed to the dev hopefully they might be able to add it either this update or the following.
loved seeing the discussion on what BR it deserved, as well as watching that one guy in this post and the more missiles one just keep arguing to eventually turn out wrong.

we dont need more missiles we need better missiles, aim120c5 cant remain like this, cause if it does newer aim120 variants arent going to be better.
