I’m kind of disappointed with the Vilkas.
Germany had a Puma for quite a while now and since then other nations have received fire-and-forget missiles for light tanks, but Germany has still not received their Puma with Spikes.
Instead, they have given us an event vehicle to give Germany access to something that should have been available in the tech tree half a year ago already.

Odds for anything other than a consumable (decals, decorations, profile pics and vehicles) on the SL chests are somewhere between 50:1 and 100:1. Vehicles are a fraction of that.
The “spinner” is just a visual psychological effect. Just like the daily rewards, what you win is already decided before it spins. It’s just showing you “what you could have won” to encourage you to play again, that’s all.
If you buy a batch of 50 (3m SL), you’ll have about a 50:50 or maybe a little chance of getting something other than a consumable. Don’t expect any more than that.
I got one vehicle coupon and vehicle onto account within first 64 crates i bought this time. After that another 100+ bought and nothing.
My friend for example opened the new update camo chests,16 GJN investment and he managed to get 2x M60 AMBT coupons and KV-220. So from 16 GJN to ± 500 GJN and he spend some part on packs during sale. I got baited into gamling by his sucess that i used 100 GJN to open the same crates,and got one KV-1B coupon, which i sold for 60 GJN so i was still - 40 GJN in the end.
Here is something funny i find.
The only good thing from this event is the profiles. The vehicles are shit.
Also, the sl crates are shit. You could spend under 1 million sl within the span of the events on stupid crates to gamble with, the only reason why you could keep on going is because “you think you’ll go big” but once the slider goes onto something that is worth decent profit, or is rare. It just gives you some stupid decal or booster etc. I really wish gaijin would fix the chances, or something along the lines of it.
I got all 10 marks for the Mirage and i got the upgrade too. When i clicked on the upgrade coupon it asked me: “Do you want to transfer for 200 Warbonds?” Then I got 200 warbonds. I unfortunately sold the upgrade coupon.
What was I supposed to do with the upgrade and the Mirage coupon?

When you click on the mirage in your inventory, you’ll see a button in the bottom left that says “modify”. Clicking on that lets you change it into a tradable coupon, if you have the upgrade for it.

I’m afraid I can’t earn the upgrade coupon back.

Don’t spend the Warbonds!
One thing has to be said: The Vilkas it total and utter bs. It spalls like a fully armored tank, despite its paper thin. The Spike missile just doesn’t hit. IT DOES ALMOST NEVER HIT^^ If it hits, its incabable of taking out an MBT, its just lethal vs. unarmored vehicles. Despite its super high trajectory (‘top down’), it always falls too short and hits the frontal armor anyways. Whats the sense of a top down trajectory in this case? Why is the launcher not adjustable? It points too high into the sky … which cylcejerks back to claim #1: It doesn’t hit.

I also managed to convert the Mirage 2000C-S4 coupon to saleable.
