Also I fly F4e for couple of hours. It is always some low frequency bass sounds (of air density irregularities I think). Kinda annoying.
I think the pilot should start slowly taking damage when at subsonic speeds with the cockpit open
If it’s realistic of course
No, gaijin just needs to change the audio balance to make the wind quieter and better without making it reveal other sounds.
We also have open cockpit aircraft capable of going 400kmh+, as well as pics of IRL jets flying without canopies for testing.
I mean if they added birdstrikes to the game…
I’m waiting for the news to break: “Video games cause hearing damage in players.”
That would be great publicity for the Gaijin brand.
But all joking aside, the sound really is way too loud.
I’m not even bothering too much about the volume, but the quality of it sounds like a broken speaker membrane and I always fear it is indeed broken…
I agree. But I think they could consider adding a fine-tuning option for the wind sound.
Do you think it’s feasible for the player to adjust it?
Maybe try not flying with your cockpit open :)
I remember discovering this when I first got VR. It’s such an insane advantage it’s not even funny.
…so you still havent grasped that he repeatedly and explicitly said that he has the cockpit closed?
Remind me how to close cockpit on OH-58D? And other open cockpit crafts.
Sorry, have to pipe in again, as you still don’t seem to read properly, or at least I 'm not sure if the actual issue was understood properly:
It’s an open cockpit by design, there’s nothing to close…
He asked how to close the cockpit, I told him.
The OH-58D is modeled in the hanger with a door, so I admit that the fact it is removed in game was a surprise to me.
At least it offers a simple solution to the issue, Gaijin just needs to put the door back on.
how would they add door on i-16 for example?
I think he mixed it up with the AH-6… = /
slight thread hijack , does a bug report need to be filed for the volume of the f-18 afterburner ?
i have my engine volume down to the minimum and it still gives me a headache ; it just is so much louder than every other engine in the game
