Good luck getting that answer bro, I asked nicely for some data a week ago and still don´t get it.
I dunno why -(´u´)/-
This is realistic. Tiger 131 was jammed by a indirect shot. Modern tanks with smaller diameter (much more “dense” fragments) APFSDS would do even better.
IF it pens, in a smaller weakspot. And the extra module also adds to the repair time
meanwhile you hit the wrong tiny weakspot on a t80 and the spall liner and autoloader eat all the spall and your shell does nothing
I agree with this, quite easy to dunk on su30’s in EFT
That’s also significantly more (and a lot more direct) than a few fragments of an APFSDS round hitting the basket or floor, two portions that don’t really effect movement of the turret itself, rather the crew and FCS would be more effected from this. Also, to be fair this is a game in which it takes like 20 seconds to wipe the fragments of your last gunner off the seat before the loader takes a crack at it, so realism isn’t as prevalent
Not even 20 sec. But it does take 20 sec to replace the engine.
EXACTLY! It’s the inconsistency of the systems of this game that bothers me a lot. An advanced module like an autoloader doesn’t catch fire or create more spalling, but the turret basket both catches fire AND create more spall
After this “nerf”, Challengers, Arietes, Leclercs and Merkavas still the weakest MBTs or they are now slightly more even??
