Obviously no, but I still want to talk about it.
In case you quite likely don’t know, the encyclopedia is a relic of old war thunder with a lot of useful information (when it was last updated, but ill get to that)
The amount of information inside of it is quite surprising really, it’s not just standard stuff like “did you know shooting the enemy hurts them?” but actual tactics many people likely wouldn’t consider like skip bombing
For all this information about the game that could be really helpful, there’s just 1 problem…
IT IS SO OUT OF DATE. It’s not just so out of date that it still states the historical nature of realistic battles
But there is no mention of any other game modes. The encyclopedia is older than ground battles.
It’s really quite a shame and I wish it got updated with information relevant to the game now, which could clear up a lot of confusion; I would love to see stuff in there that players otherwise have to go out of the game to understand like IRCCM types, proper missile evasion, how radar actually works.
Even better would be to include all the game modes added over the years, there are so many players wouldn’t know about tanks or helis without having to go out of the game and look the information up.
It would be so much easier to explain how to get out of VRS to new players if there was just an image of what to do in the encyclopedia, like there is for a flat spin.
