After removing the R2Y2’s air respawn point, it seems that the R2Y2 is not as good as before, there is no reason to make them still keep at 8.0, basically, R2Y2’s performance is similar with 7.0-7.3 jets, even worse, except the firepower.
R2Y2s are notably better than the F-84G outside climb rate, and early MD jets in France.

I respect your different views but that doesn’t mean you can mislead others, especially a new player, also your solos are unreasonable, if you are limited to only 1v1 small maps then there is no doubt that R2Y2 can win, F84G isn’t very good at dogfighting but can be easily suppressed using the energy advantage but on the flip side then I can also win easily using Meteor and F80C

F-84G gets an airspawn, is much faster, and will be miles above the R2Y2 in any real match.
F-84G’s climb rate is also average. It’d be 7.3 BR without that air spawn in an instant.
The F-84F, which is barely better sits at 8.3 without an airspawn. (Except for the US version, which still has its airspawn)
It is not 0.3 BR better than an Me-262, it’s 0.7 higher at least. Remove the air spawn and keep it at 7.7, because the US doesn’t need another incredibly good early jet that wrecks everything…
Move the R2Y2s to 7.7 (for now) along side the Vampires and a couple other planes.
The F-84F has the climb rate of a Mig-15, significantly more climb rate than the F-84G.

Partially what makes the R2Y2 so good is its flight model is entirely based on guesses, so its drag and other aspects are superior to that of MD450 at this time.
The closest analogue is if you combined an MD450 with a Vampire, you get a effectively a R2Y2 flight model. No, it’s not the fastest, it’s also not the turniest, but it is in the middle of both.

Honestly the solution is decompressing 9.0 so the strong 8.3s - 9.0s can move back up.
Then F-84G can stay where it is or move up to 8.0 as well depending on if it retains air spawn, and R2Y2 stay in their rather healthy position.

Having just started playing the new Thai F-84G, after spading all 3 R2Y2s, you’re completely off your rocker to suggest that.
Even completely stock I can already run rings around the R2Y2.
There is not a single reason in hell the R2Y2 deserves to be above 7.7. I argued for 7.3 before it even got raised to 8.0, and they are pure hanger decorations at that BR.
R2Y2 climb rate is also average (if it was 7.3, horrible for 8.0 where it actually is and has to contend with MiG15s and F-86s AT ITS OWN BR) and has no airspawn, yet sits all the way up there.
F-84Gs can abuse their airspawn to be much higher than anyone else and deny the enemy team from going high. R2Y2 can’t.
Also you didn’t remove the fuel tanks from your F-84, so it will go even higher.
Are the fuel tanks actually modelled on the F84s now? Last time I checked there was no difference between having them on and off.
This is the main reason why I think the F-84B and G are undertiered. They should either move up in BR, or lose their airspawn. Their airspawn allows them to be higher than anything else, and it forces the enemy team to dive to gain speed.
There is just no argument for good fighter aircraft to have an airspawn.
I haven’t flown the thai F-84G yet, waiting for a friend to get it so we can fly it together. Drop tank drag seems modeled in high tier jets so I don’t see why it wouldn’t here. And extra weight is extra weight.
