It is perfect for test drive map, they already have a range modeled and and whole lot of area to drive.
In reality it feels more similar to how a “realistic” test drive would be, i.e. tank gun ranges and large areas of forest and terrain to drive through and test the tank, how actual military bases are

And it prolly wouldn’t be that hard to make it a test drive map.
What I’m thinking is a little button that says test or something that let’s you drive the current vehicle you have selected around the hanger.

I wish you could test drive any of the vehicles without resorting to some workaround.
Its useless feature. That takes dev time that could be used to fix the various gamebreaking bugs we have.

it’s just a waste of time,… it could be fun - but gaijin needs to prioritize on bugs and precising features,…
like this update: they gave us new hangars, but that wasn’t necessary.
However fixing and introducing more features, to make some planes more balances overall, is the true way to go.
I’ve several exemple in mind, but let’s go with the maybe the one that is going to be appreciated by most people :
Giving MMW-ARH seekers features to missiles like Brimstone AGM, allowing for some Fire-and-Forget launch mode (@Morvran)
While Adding countermeasures of such systems for Ground Vehicule and chaffs vulnerability for aircraft defence (Brimstone being capable of a good pull, it would be a shame if someone used it to get 80% Pk rate on aircrafts ^^")
There is no reason to waste time on a hangar feature,… which bring nothing to the game.
Also you can already move your PoV/Camera around the hangar map, thanks to Nvidia Ansel feature

They are adding a new hanger look wouldn’t it be cool if you could drive around in it?
Console players and people with out NVIDIA can’t do this.

Those are just things that don’t benefit with profit its just cool.

Granted you can test drive tech tree stuff but the premium hangar? Pure marketing.
Could say similar things about the weapon displays.
They show all available weaponry but not one person ever suggested that more things should show up on those racks when you go and unlock them. Not like they’d do that lule.

But you would still need to own the vehicle to drive it around the hanger.
Literally almost anything they do these days haha.
( Unless ofc the community throws a tantrum but that ain’t happening it seems, people became too soft)
But still you would need to own the vehicle which would make it a marketing strat for prem vehicles.
id love for test drive to just be straight from the hangar into its firing range. it would be seemless and super cool
