“WILDTHING” DECAL

HISTORY

I saw this weird, cool looking decal in an video from the NATO exercise “Strong Resolve” from 1995. I can not say what vehicle this decoration was painted on, I can neither say which nation it belongs to, but my best guess is an Norwegian M109 or an eventual American Hummer or landing craft which participated in the exercise. The reason I suspect the Norwegian M109 is because that’s the vehicle shown right before the cutoff to this picture. And, unfortunately i cant say what this decal means, but i seriously suspect it has something to do with Looney Tunes, but after looking over the characters i cant find anyone similar, but i swear to all seven gods, the old and the new that i have seen this before, at least 10 years ago (Addendum from other mod, this is the Tazmanian Devil). If you know anything about the character or even the decal, don’t hesitate in sharing it! :D

Thats the Tazmanian devil from looney tunes. Id imagine there’s some copyright issues there if its added to WT. He was quite common on the sides of aircraft in the 1900s

Yeah, thats probably why we haven’t seen any cartoons like this added, it would be cool tough, ive seen both characters from Donald Duck and other cartoons from the 80s/90s. Its handmade tough, not a direct copy of the cartoon
