Why US top-tier CAS still fights with 1970s weapons while Russia uses 2020s missiles in the same?

yes but if they give it a 20-30s or more total motor burn time there is still a good chance it will be slower than AGM-88C at closer ranges

Iirc for the alarm it only counts the main booster, the second pulse is variable, it can ignite during the sustainer phase

yes but the total burn time of booster and second pulse is only 5.7 seconds with the booster being only 0.7 seconds

It’s outright stated to be faster than HARM. It is an upgrade over the AGM-88C in every way

that just means its top speed is faster

again I wouldnt be surprised if gaijin gives it a super long burn time so it only gets to top speed after 10-20 seconds

For the same reason the Typhoon has SAL Brimstone 1s and not Full Brimstone 2s

There’s also the issue that the aircraft launched version of JAGM (JAGM-F) is SALH only iirc.

Since it’s not the same as the one on AH-64Es.

Its SAL+MMW like Brimstone

So SALH.

Either way not the problem solver people act like it is.

It would be if they added MMW

And yet they won’t, therefore it isn’t.

Up to you buddy.

Tho the point its to shoot the supersonic missiles to the spaas and bring some other loadout for other targets. For example in the F-15I you can bring 2 popeyes and some spice 250, F-16C 2 popeyes lite and 2 AGM-65. Depending in the range, 1 popeye can deal better results than 3 AGM-65s.
