Grinded Germany for Leopards because they were exclusive to that nation and when im finally completing the tech tree (grinding for F4 ICE and Leo 2A7V) lot of nations got the same copy paste Leopards lol, its like a slap in the face
Well they are meta so people want them, given the option it’s much more likely you would take a Leopard over a Leclerc or Ariete. People are willingly asking for this to boost their chances of winning.

Germany sold a lot of them, like USSR and their T-series tanks. Do you have some erudite knowledge of MBT manufacturers in minor nations that made something that can take their place?
People want their favored nations in the game, those nations either make tanks or buy them, if they buy them, they have to come from somewhere. Simple as.
Edit: Also consider that Gaijin has recognized that most players don’t complete more than one tech tree, and far less than that complete two or more. It’s actually nice of them to do this so that we don’t have to grind out every last tech tree to play these vehicles, imo.

Yeah, Gaijin is the incompetent being managed by the greedy. They can’t make maps, they struggle to add new mechanics to the game that don’t either break it or are a huge waste of time (remember entrenching plows lol), and they paywall 50% of their new content with microtransactions that cost as much as an entire game costs.

that idea of “its better so people dont have to grind all nations to play the vehicle they want” is kinda shit, the whole point of grinding a nation is because you are looking for something on it.
i want A10, Black Hawk, and Abrams but yet there is no one on my Germany tree (and ofc there wont be a one, thats stupid since these vehicles are from USA) and guess what? i need to grind the whole USA to get these vehicles i want and im fine with it, im fine if i have to grind the whole USA because these vehicles are supossed to be nation exclusive, happens also with JAS39, Challenger 2 , etc.

take in mind IM agaisnt this because my account started on 2017 when war thunder got added to Xbox, and JUST NOW im finishing the tech tree, with no premium. all that time grinding just to see the vehicles i wanted on other nations feels… idk

Maybe people want some semblance of national identity and exclusivity in the game? It’s like having Leclercs in the German and French tech tree, Chinese tanks in the US tree, etc. Not to mention that the Dutch army has more interoperability with Germany. The way Gaijin handled subtrees is simply awful.
Contaminating other tech trees in the name of “balance” is not okay in my opinion, when they should’ve fixed added more domestic vehicles to France.
I found they just hate Germany, even chaning angle of leopard when the turrent backwards from 40° to ± 75°. In past 2 years, leopards never got something beneficial, on the contrast, they just became weaker and weaker.
Considering the current matchmaking is more likely you fight USSR with all or majority of the other nations as allied. Like a 1 vs. 9.
You’ll mostly find USA along with USSR and Germany with Sweden and sometimes if the matchmaking blesses you French or Italy in the allied side, even China.
